Ariana Grande's new music video takes a shot at parodying one of the most iconic teen movies of our generation, and the main "Mean Girl" thinks the shout out is so fetch.
Sources tell The Blast that even though Grande did not reach out toLindsay Lohan for a cameo in her "Thank U, Next" music video, Lohan loves what the singer did.
We're told Lilo would have absolutely appeared in the video, but the "No Tears Left to Cry" star did not reach out to any of the main girls, including Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried or Lacey Chabert.
In the teaser for Grande's video, released Monday night, the singer recreates the 2004 hit comedy and even has a cameo with Jonathan Bennett, who reprises his role as Aaron Samuels.
Sources tell us Lindsay has been extremely busy in her own career lately with meetings, writing and gearing up for her new MTV reality show. We're told she had no clue about the "Mean Girls" tribute until it was released publicly.
However, we're told Lohan isn't about to add Grande's name to the Burn Book just yet, and is happy her movie continues to live on in pop-culture.
