Amber Rose is grieving the loss of a longtime companion.
The voluptuous model first stepped into the spotlight following her appearance in the music video for Young Jeezy and Kanye "Ye" West's hit single, "Put On." The hip-hop video vixen built a reputation as a TV personality and social media influencer.
However, the Philadelphia native's life recently hit a painful period as the 39-year-old lost one of her closest friends. The "How to Be a Bad Bitch" author announced the passing of her beloved dog in a series of emotional posts.
Amber Rose Reflects On Her Relationship With Deceased Pet With A Walk Down Memory Lane
In her latest Instagram Story update, the "Loveline" host revealed her longtime canine partner, Pauly, had taken his final breath. The grief-stricken pet owner mourned the loss of her four-legged friend with a carousel of memories.
The first image captured the late dog lounging on a couch with its tongue sticking out. The canine appeared to be a pug breed with a fawn-colored coat and black hues on its adorable face. "My firstborn son," Rose began her poignant caption, adding three crying face emojis.
"RIP Pauly, you've given me 13 years of happiness, love, and laughs," the media personality penned, sending off her beloved pet with three rose emojis. It seemed the deceased pug had a habit of sticking his tongue out, as the following picture showed the dog in the same pose.
Instead of lying on a cushion, the canine was seated by a door flashing the camera his comical expression. "I lost a family member," the influencer lamented in the caption. "I miss him so much! Tears***"
The slideshow continued depicting the "Fame" rapper's fond memories with Pauly. A third snap captured the pair on a walk with the 39-year-old dressed in a cute floral mini dress, cropped denim jacket, and gold sandals.
By the TV personality's side, the deceased pug donned his tongue-out expression, looking excited as he led the way while attached to a blue leash. In the image's overlay text, the Philadelphia native revealed a third party in the snap.
"Walking Pauly 11 years ago when I was pregnant with Sebastian," Rose stated, referring to her first son, whom she welcomed with her ex-husband Wiz Khalifa in 2013. The final picture in the emotional walk down memory lane was a throwback snap.
In the photo, the former "Dancing With The Stars" contestant looked significantly younger, posing with Pauly as a puppy. The entertainer donned black shades and a bold red lip gloss, rocking a black tee underneath a sleeveless camouflage jacket.
The mother-of-two also glammed up her pug for the snap, tying a red bandana around the canine's little neck. Finally, at the last stage of grief — acceptance — the "School Dance" actress concluded her post with a sad face emoji and the words: "My baby is gone."
Fans of the "Master of the Mix" judge may recall that the video vixen paid tribute to Pauly and his fellow pug brother Franky with a permanent declaration of her love for the animals. As shared by PopStarsTats, the canine lover adorned her upper arm with a portrait tattoo of her beloved dogs.
The body art was on her left arm, below the shoulder, and featured the pugs posing side by side. The work was inked in black and white depicting Franky and Pauly's fur colors. Keeping to his usual theme, the now-deceased dog was captured with his tongue hanging out.
The 'Amber Rose Show' Host Is Open To Same-Sex Relationship Over' Gross Men'
Months before the TV personality mourned the loss of her four-legged family member, Rose announced that she was done with two-legged creatures, specifically men. In January, the Philadelphia native opened up about her dislike for the male gender on Sofia Franklyn's podcast.
The model, who has been in relationships with Hip-hop stars like Khalifa and West, expressed her distaste for loving another man. The 39-year-old noted no interest in having a romantic or intimate relationship with the opposite sex.
"It's worse than ever," the mother-of-two lamented. "They're pretty disgusting out here. They're f**king gross. Like, I wanna be single for the rest of my life."
On the same note, the video vixen revealed she was okay with the idea of being "a lesbian." However, Rose reaffirmed her stance on being alone without a male or female partner. "I'm fine with being by myself, too," the voluptuous model declared. "I'm thrilled not to be in bed with anyone."
