Chrissy Teigen's Daughter Steps Into Her Cooking Shoes, Bakes The Perfect Cookies

It is safe to say that "like mother, like daughter" perfectly describes Chrissy Teigen and her seven-year-old daughter Luna, who is now walking in the food enthusiast's steps.

Teigen and her husband of nearly a decade, John Legend, share the youngster alongside two more little ones — a son, Miles, born in May 2018, and a baby daughter, Esti, welcomed this January. 

Most recently, Luna seems to be filling her mother's shoes perfectly in the kitchen area as she was seen baking some delicious cookies, no doubt delighting fans of the adorable family.

Teigen proudly showed off her baby girl, busy with cookie batter in their sophisticated kitchen, on her Instagram Story, revealing her meal plans for the family's dinner.

The budding cook was filmed kneeling on the marble counter surrounded by kitchen equipment, including the batter from her mom's brand Cravings, some colorful bowls, and a tray with a few rounded cookie batters.

Amid filming, the seven-year-old said, "My mum's out of town, so I'm taking over the kitchen and making cookies for dinner!" She then scooped a cookie batter onto the tray in front of her.

Afterward, Luna, who rocked a white blouse tucked into skintight jeans and paired with black shin-high boots, was captured walking towards a low table in another part of the kitchen where her brother was.

She placed a plate of cookies in front of him and announced, "Miles, dinner is served," prompting the 5-year-old to chuckle before looking at the person behind the camera and then staring at the tasty-looking snack.

"@cravingsbychrissyteigen" was tagged on the post, similar to the ensuing clip showing Luna in the kitchen once more with cookie batter but in a different outfit. She donned a pair of blue jeans but opted for a longsleeved purple blouse and was videoed saying, "The bowls are back on Cravings website" in a singsong voice, referring to the multicolored bowls surrounding her.

The seven-year-old broke an egg using the edge of one of the bowls before pouring it into a bowl and whisking it. Luna is not just a genius with cookies but also appears to be the perfect big sister, which Teigen could not help but gush about in March.

The cookbook author posted images of the toddler carrying out her big sister role when asked to take care of the house in her mother's absence. The first slide displayed Luna in a long pink floral dress, carrying a wide-awake baby Esti in her arms. Esti, who wore a brown onesie, looked well at ease.

In the following slide, Miles was seen with Luna, and they both had umbrellas and rain boots, while in the third shot, the siblings hung out on a kitchen counter. Miles rocked a longsleeved green sweater with denim as he joined his sister in making a cake batter in a vast bowl.

The result from their cooking adventure was captured in the concluding slide as Luna smiled cutely at the camera, holding out a tray of brown cake with green toppings.  

The sweetness did not go unnoticed by fans as they commended Luna for performing her job well with her younger ones. One commenter exclaimed, "Love this!!! She is learning from the best that is clear, so happy for you all." Another remarked, "Giving the ultimate oldest sister vibes, It's a good club to belong to."

Like Luna, Miles once amazed his parents by achieving a remarkable milestone that Teigen could not help but share with her millions of followers.

As The Blast reported, she shared a video of the 5-year-old reading from a book titled "Are You My Mother" and explained in the caption that he read the entire book to her and Legend.

The former "Lip Sync Battle" co-host also mentioned that they used to read to the youngster every night, but he never read more than a "dinosaur name and a word here and there."

Surprisingly, he decided to show off his reading prowess, amazing his parents and which his mom believed he had been hiding. Nevertheless, she noted that it was a "wonderful first book" to read.
