The husband of former "Real Housewives of New York" star Aviva Drescher has reached a deal to pay back the majority of his massive credit card debt, which will bring an end to the lawsuit filed against the reality star.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Reid Drescher has agreed to pay back $32,000 of the $45,000 he owed to Capital One Bank.
The deal states Reid will pay monthly installments of $266 until the year 2028.
As The Blast first reported, Capital One Bank sued Reid Drescher earlier this year, accusing him of refusing to pay up on the credit card despite numerous demands for payment.
Capital One Bank said Reid of took out a line of credit with the company that was to be paid in monthly installments but he breached the deal. They sued for the unpaid balance, plus interest and other fees.
Reid is still facing a separate lawsuit accusing him of breaching a settlement agreement and owing a New York company $30,000. That case is still pending.
Aviva and Reid appeared on seasons 5 and 6 of “RHONY” and she is best known for one of the most infamous scenes in all of "Housewives" history — when she infamously took off her prosthetic leg and threw it during an argument.
