Dixie Chicks frontwoman Natalie Maines is battling her estranged husband Adrian Pasdar over their prenup after the television star pushed back against the validity of the agreement.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Pasdar "does not recall the events related to the drafting and negotiation of the prenuptial agreement in 2000."

Though he initially challenged the prenup, he now "agrees that he and Natalie signed a valid enforceable agreement at that time."

Pasdar's attorneys say they are willing to divide up the former couple's assets pursuant to the terms in the prenup but he has a problem when it comes to spousal support.

The prenup calls for neither side to receive spousal support, which his attorneys call "unconscionable."

"Natalie’s assets and income are far greater than Adrian’s," his attorneys write. "At present, Adrian lacks the financial resources from which to support himself and their children at a level anywhere near the marital standard."

The prenup calls for each party to keep the property they owned prior to the marriage and all royalties for any Dixie Chicks songs — or his acting royalties — to stay completely separate.

Each had the option to transfer interest in their various businesses to the other but it was not required. Both agreed neither would be paid child or spousal support if they split.

Maines is demanding the judge order her ex to turn over documents and information, along with seeking $6,052 in sanctions.

The singer accuses Pasdar of trying to drag out the divorce and force her to spend a ton of money and time. She says her ex is clearly on a “transparent attempt to secure an unfair litigation advantage by wearing Natalie down and dragging this case out.”

She says he refuses to turn over documents and has refused to sign a stipulation confirming the validity of the prenup.

Maines believes the divorce can be resolved quickly once the prenup validity has been agreed on.

Pasdar has yet to respond and the judge has yet to rule.
