Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi is talking about her Ozempic use again, and this time, she is updating fans on a 30-lb weight loss.
GG Is All About Weight Loss Help
The former Shahs of Sunset star spoke up a few months ago about using Ozempic to help her lose weight. Her transparency was surprising, seeing as most people are willing to keep it a secret rather than be honest about using it.
"I don't see a reason to hide being on a weight loss [medication] or a cosmetic procedure," she noted to Entertainment Weekly. "Just talk about it because so many people out there want to do the same thing or learn about what you did."
She acknowledged, "Obviously, I didn't look like this two months ago." And there is no way she can lie out of that, so she is telling the truth. "So all of a sudden to lose almost 30 lbs., I would be a liar to say I quit drinking alcohol and, you know, all of a sudden started working out as some people say."
Ozempic Hasn't Gotten In The Foodie's Way
GG has always loved food and says using Ozempic hasn't damaged that, as some have assumed. "I'm a little hungry. Look, I'm going to go smoke a little pot and eat definitely," she joked with the news organization.
She shared back in February that her doctor recommended Ozempic because of some underlying health issues. She revealed the news in an Instagram Live post where she also showed her followers how easy it is to inject.
"Unfortunately, because of my health, I had to get a lot of steroid injections last year, which caused me to pack on some weight. I've been having a very, very, very hard time getting rid of that weight."
GG Slammed The Fake Users
The mom of one took the IG Live moment to slam the celebs rumored to be taking the magical drug but not fessing up to it. "I did what all the people are doing and lying about. I'm on the weight-loss shots, honey, okay?"
She continues. "I'm just not gonna lie about it because I always keep it real about what is fake." In Feb, she dropped 9 lbs, starting at 137 lbs, and wasn't ashamed to share it. This was the heaviest GG ever had, and she needed the reprieve.
"I have never, ever been over 121-22 lbs. other than being pregnant, so that may not seem like a lot to some people, but for me, it is." GG left her followers with a warning that day.
"If you see people out there who just got skinny so fast all of a sudden and claimed they got 'healthy' for the first time in their lives, or that they got sober from alcohol that was causing them just to gain so much weight — which it does, which is why I don't wanna drink anymore — but most likely, they're just doing the shots."
