The consequences of NBA star Ja Morant's actions have extended to his 'NBA 2K' persona.
Avid players of the popular video game may have recently noticed Morant, 23, is suspended from the game after last week's incident on Instagram Live flashing a gun.
Ja Morant Is Suspended On NBA 2K
The aftermath of Morant's recent string of trouble has been overwhelmingly negative in so many areas. From fellow NBA players to fans, everyone's talking about the choices he's been making.
The NBA star was suspended from all team activities following his second Instagram Live incident, where he was seen flashing a gun just last week. And other consequences have been staggering in. From his signature shoes being removed from Nike's website and app to his Powerade commercials being pulled, it's been an avalanche of negative changes for Morant.
While the NBA is currently investigating the new Instagram Live video and deciding what further consequences will follow, NBA 2K has agreed to suspend the Grizzlies star from the game. Raphouse TV tweeted about it with a photo of Morant in a suit sitting on the bench in the game.

The first incident, which happened in March, resulted in an eight-game suspension and two weeks in a counseling facility in Florida to help him learn how to manage his stress more appropriately. After promising he would make better choices moving forward, the second Instagram Live incident shocked many.
Morant released a statement shortly after the second incident hit the internet.
"I know I've disappointed many people who have supported me. This is a journey, and I recognize there is more work to do," Morant's statement reads.
"My words may not mean much right now, but I take full accountability for my action. I'm committed to continuing to work on myself."
Everyone's Talking About Ja Morant's Bad Choices
Former NBA players, current players, sports analysts, and fans alike have all been talking about Morant's bad choices.
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver recently spoke out about Morant's situation, and what happened after the last time he flashed a gun on Instagram Live earlier this year. After the incident in March, Silver sat down with Morant, and they spoke about the consequences of his actions.
"We were very focused on the misconduct in front of us at the time, and frankly, most of our conversation was about how severe the first incident was of waving a firearm on social media," Silver said.
"And again, the consequences there, an eight-game suspension, was pretty serious and something that he, at least to me, seemed to take incredibly seriously in that time."
Adrian Wojnarowski, ESPN Senior NBA Insider, also spoke about possible consequences.
"If what appears to be a gun in that video and the League finds out that this is not a doctored video, this is not some enhancement. You have to say that first because we're assuming we know what it appeared to be with our eyes, but if that is a gun in his hand, he's facing a significant suspension to start next season," Wojnarowski said on Get Up on ESPN.
"I think the feeling all around the League, I think with the Grizzlies, with the League office, with other teams, Adam Silver, there was some leniency in that eight-game suspension with Ja Morant, that he met with him in the League office, he took Ja Morant at his word that he was contrite, that he understood that his behavior had to change."
