The guitarist for popular death metal band, Cannibal Corpse, is behind bars after he broke into a neighbors' house and then charged a sheriff's deputy with a knife while his house was on fire.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Patrick O'Brien was taken into custody on Monday night in Florida and charged with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer with a deadly weapon and burglary occupied dwelling with assault or battery.
Officials claim the guitarist entered his neighbors house just before 7 PM and "pushed one of the residents to the ground against her will" after being ordered to leave the home.

O'Brien allegedly fled to the backyard, and when a deputy arrived, he "ran towards the deputy with a knife in his right hand."
The musician was tased and taken into custody. At the time he was being arrested, it was discovered that O'Brien's nearby home was on fire, and his stored ammunition began going off.
The road was blocked off as firefighters struggled to extinguish the blaze because of the ammunition, but were able to get it under control in about an hour. Fire crews stayed on scene throughout the night, and it's currently unclear if O'Brien is directly connected with starting the fire.
It was just announced that Cannibal Corpse would be featured on Slayer's upcoming farewell tour next year. It's unclear if the arrest will have an impact on the concerts.
