Christina Hall is not bothered by who her kids call 'mom'!

The television personality was prompted to shut down a critic's attempt at causing problems in her family following the release of the latest season of "Selling Sunset." As it turned out, her daughter β€” Taylor El Moussa β€” had given a speech during her stepmother Heather Rae El Moussa's baby shower that saw her calling the model the "best mom" she could ask for.

The sentiment led some people, including the abovementioned critic, to ask Hall for her thoughts; her response was everything!

Christina Hall Shuts Down Critic's Attempt To Start Some Family Drama

Trouble had started after the mother-of-three dropped an image that featured her and her three kids β€” Taylor and Brayden El Moussa and Hudson London Anstead β€” posing in front of a mirror. The family of four were all smiles as Hall put her arm around her middle child, Brayden, while Taylor and Hudson stood to the side.

"Mom life = Playing their driver to all activities all weekend... Tay "Mom, please don't wear leggings; put some jeans on" okay, Tay. Love this cute crew," the doting mom penned beneath the shot.

Within hours, the sweet family update had gotten thousands of likes and hundreds of comments from fans, who were giddy about how much Taylor resembled her mom. Others similarly joked about the warning the 12-year-old gave her 39-year-old mother before they stepped out, with one person affirming, "Yeah, they get to a certain age, and everything you do embarrasses them."

However, one person was more concerned about the preteen crowning Heather as the "best mom ever" during the baby shower held by the 35-year-old and her husband, Tarek El Moussa, ahead of the arrival of their first child together.

The moment, which aired as part of the tenth episode of "Selling Sunset" season six, saw Hall's baby girl giving a speech after Heather gave a brief appreciation speech to her guests. In Taylor's words:

"I've known you for four years now, and I just want to say that you're the best mom ever, and I couldn't have asked for anyone else. I'm so excited for the baby. My dad got lucky."

To that end, the critic queried, "How did you feel when she said something along the lines that Heather was the best mom she could ask for? I was hurt, and I'm not even her mom 😩 I guess it made me happy to know Heather is good to her and she feels that way, but... ah.πŸ˜ͺπŸ˜ͺ."

Hall was fast to respond, typing, "Oh lord, what an odd thing to say. My kids are obsessed with me, and I know that. I don't need Taylor to announce how amazing I am to the world for me to feel confident in my motherhood. Jealousy and envy aren't in my DNA ... I'm glad they love their stepmom too."

The "Flip or Flop" alum's sentiment was exactly right, as Heather has frequently bragged about her stepchildren's place in her life. The Blast observed last November that the mother-of-one gushed about them being responsible for her excitement to become a mother.

She had done so under a five-photo post of her and Taylor walking into the venue of her baby shower and sharing a hug, writing, "Having Tay and Bray in my life. They melted my heart and made me want to be a mommy."

Hall had nothing but the best words to express her feelings for Taylor as the latter's 12th birthday approached in September 2022. Per The Blast, the real estate investor initially took to her Instagram Story to upload a singular pic of the soon-to-be celebrant eating a cupcake alongside the text, "This cutie turns 12 tomorrow 🀍."

When D-Day rolled around on September 22, the "Christina on the Coast" star shared multiple snaps of her oldest child, starting with one of her standing next to a blue boulder painted with a cake and some balloons with '12' on them. Under the post, which also included throwback snaps of the celebrant, she wrote:

"Happy Birthday, Taylor! Times goes [sic] by way too fast, and watching her grow up so much this past year has been😱."
