On Friday, Jesse J announced that she'd given birth to her first child after a miscarriage in 2020. The "Price Tag" singer posted an Instagram story: "A week ago, my whole life changed. My son entered this world, and my heart grew twice the size."

Jesse further wrote that her feelings as a new mother are "indescribable," and she's "flying in love." She added, "He is magic. He is all my dreams come true. He is my whole [world]. He and I are both doing great. I am soaking up every second and still can't believe he is real, here and mine. I am so grateful. Phew."

She Revealed The Pregnancy In January

Jessie first revealed her pregnancy in January on Instagram. The singer, whose birth name is Jessica Ellen Cornish, wrote, "I am so happy and terrified to share this finally," and asked fans to "please be gentle with" her.

She added, "Honestly, ya girl just wants to ugly cry in public in a catsuit, eating a chocolate-covered pickle with no questions asked." Jesse's reveal post included her positive pregnancy test, selfies showing off her baby bump, and footage of her ultrasound appointment.

She added, "Now I'm nearly 35, and some days the grief of losing a baby and not being easy to have one, and wanting my life in that way to look completely different to what it looks like right now just overwhelms me."

Jesse also shared a motivational message, saying she wants her struggles to help others in similar situations. She said, "The bad isn't often at all, and yes, I could go through this moment today alone in private and usually do, but today I am here. Because I know thousands of people around the [world] feel just like I do."
