Jon Gosselin Says Twins Mady & Cara Gosselin Have Ended All Communication

Jon Gosselin has a contentious relationship with some of his kids. Now, he’s revealing that his eldest girls don’t speak to him. Ever.

Gosselin revealed that his 22-year-old twins Mady and Cara with ex Kate Gosselin are not in his life. The girls essentially ignore him and choose not to respond to text messages, phone calls, or any other form of communication that he has utilized.

The former reality star shared with The U.S. Sun, “The last time I spoke to Mady and Cara was 2014,” which is almost 10 years ago! “I periodically text Mady and Cara to see if I get a response and at this point, I’ve never heard from them.”

This year, the girls are graduating from college he added. “Sadly, I am not attending Mady and Cara’s college graduations.” The girls just “ignore” his efforts.

The girls last spoke about their dad to the media eight years when they were 15. Mady shared a scathing comment. “He doesn’t even know us… And the last thing I have time for is a toxic relationship,” she shared with PEOPLE. Cara shared a similar sentiment.

“I wouldn’t even know what to say about him.” The comments came after the single dad claimed that he was interested in rebuilding the broken relationship with his kids. “I am relieved that court is over and I can focus on rebuilding my relationships with my children who now live in North Carolina and New York.”

Earlier this month, Jon continued to hold out hope that all his kids would one day unite with him involved. “It’s a very freeing feeling to not have to worry about lawsuits from Kate and really opens the door for me to reach out to my other children. I truly hope for the best.”

Gosselin was clearly choked up over his kids, telling the publication. They are “full grown adults and unfortunately, we missed those opportunities when they were growing up.” But, things are looking up, hopefully.

“With that said, there are many events coming up like the kids’ graduations, and hopefully seeing my ex and my other children isn’t awkward but instead a new beginning.”

Jon and Kate were married for ten years and most of it was showcased on their TLC reality TV show, Jon & Kate Plus 8. The show also spawned a few spinoffs for Kate after the divorce including one where she was dating.

Collin and Hannah were the only two kids that stood by their dad’s side, the other six kids stuck with their mom. Initially, Kate attempted to get and undisclosed amount of child support from Jon. In turn, he slammed Kate for taking money from the accounts set up for the kids.

He claims she stole $50k each from Hannah and Collin “to survive”. Adding up to a shocking $100k. But she ended up purchasing a $750k lake house in North Carolina. Clearly, the family is far from being able to attend a family dinner together but, maybe now, two more kids can start communicating with their dad!
