Despite their divorce years back, Priscilla Presley would still like to rest beside Elvis Presley. During a recent hearing on amendments to the late Lisa Marie's Trust, Priscilla asked for the plot next to the late singer.

Two weeks after Lisa Marie died in January, her mother, Priscilla, filed a suit challenging her Trust. At the recent hearing, the lawyers confirmed that her granddaughter Riley Keough and Priscilla had agreed on a settlement.

Priscilla and Lisa Marie were allegedly not talking before her death because Priscilla sided with her ex, Michael Lockwood. She claimed in her petition that Lisa Marie's amendment wasn't authentic and wanted to be reinstated.

Priscilla Presley asked to be buried beside her ex-husband and music icon, Elvis Presley. She had been in a legal dispute with her granddaughter, Riley Keough, and requested the recent hearing for their lawsuit.

According to TMZ, Priscilla's request was immediately turned down as Elvis was buried between his parents. Granting her request would mean their gravestones would be shifted to make space, which is not an option for the family.

Priscilla said, "Although I don't plan to go anywhere anytime soon. My family wishes me to be laid to rest with my daughter and the love of my life when that time comes. We appreciate the love from all of the fans."

Two weeks after Lisa Marie's untimely death in January, Priscilla filed a petition over Lisa Marie's wealthy Trust. Riley was allegedly furious about the lawsuit then but didn't file any objection. The dispute between the two women dragged on since Lisa Marie's passing until recently.

During the Tuesday hearing, Riley's lawyer Justin Gold announced to Judge Lynn Scaduto that the women had agreed on a settlement. Gold also shared that he plans to file a motion in court to seal the details of Riley and Priscilla's payment.

The women's lawyers also announced in court that they'd settled the dispute on a second trust concerning Lisa Marie's insurance policies, which might go as high as $35 million. Judge Scaduto has scheduled the next hearing for August 4th, where he'll officially approve both settlements.

Priscilla's lawyer, Ronson Shamoun, spoke to People magazine and said his client is happy with the settlement. He said, "The families are happy, unified, together, and excited for the future." When asked if Riley was also happy about settling, Shamoun said she'd never "have agreed to the settlement if she was not happy with it."

While Lisa Marie was still alive, she always supported Riley, especially during her messy divorce and child custody battle with her ex-husband Michael Lockwood. However, she wasn't on good terms with her mother, Priscilla, and they were "barely speaking" before her death.

The rift between mother and daughter was caused by Priscilla siding with Michael during the custody disputes for their twin daughters. Despite their silent battle, Priscilla and Lisa Marie were still seen together at the premiere of "Elvis," which starred Austin Butler.

Priscilla filed her petition mainly because Lisa Marie decided to remove her and former manager Barry Siegel as trustees. The Will contains the late Lisa Marie's rights to their Graceland mansion in Memphis. She also held a 15% stake in Elvis Presley Enterprises, which makes millions yearly.

Lisa Marie's assets included two life insurance policies worth $ 25 million and $ 10 million, respectively. She replaced Priscilla and Siegel with Riley and her brother Benjamin, who died by suicide in 2020.

In her petition, Priscilla claimed that the Trust wasn't authentic or valid and said Lisa Marie's signature was clearly "inconsistent." The 77-year-old requested the court to restore her as a trustee in the Will and said she wasn't aware of Lisa Marie's amendments, which violates the Trust.
