The two artists who created a mural in honor of Jason Momoa impressed the star so much, he gave them tickets to his "Aquaman" premiere after they painted a tribute to the King of Atlantis.

The Blast spoke with airbrush/aerosol artists, Matty Bro Art and Ezra Clayton, who tell us they were gifted red carpet passes by Momoa's team after they unveiled the colorful mural Monday in Burleigh Heads, Queensland, Australia showcasing the superhero holding the Trident of Poseidon.

According to the artists, the mural stands 65 ft wide and 35 ft tall, and took them four days to complete. They used six gallons of paint plus 30 aerosol cans.

Matty says they created the mural out of pure love for the "Aquaman" star and gratitude for "what he's achieved as a Polynesian."

Momoa, who was in town for the Australian premiere of the DC flick, was coaxed by mutual friends to make a pitstop and knew nothing about the mural.

Although the star was a bit jet-lagged from his flight, we are told he loved the tribute and spent 20 minutes taking pictures and speaking with the locals.

The artists were later gifted the passes and had an awesome time at the premiere, and shot some video of their experience on the blue carpet.
