Singer Britney Spears and her husband Sam Asghari are making it clear that their marriage is just fine.
The two tied the knot last June after meeting on the set of her "Slumber Party" music video in 2016. Despite rumors that their marriage is in "deep trouble," it looks like the couple is working to put up a united front against the headlines.
Britney Spears and Sam Asghari Dispel Marriage Trouble Rumors With PDA-Packed Video
On Wednesday night, the 41-year-old pop star took to Instagram to share a video that featured her and her husband out enjoying the sunshine. The video was set to Justin Bieber’s hit song “Honest” featuring Don Toliver. In the video, Britney stands behind Sam as she puts her arms over his shoulders. She is hiding her eyes behind aviator sunglasses and wearing a strapless red crop top with long, puffy sleeves and white shorts.
Sam, on the other hand, is wearing an olive green tee shirt underneath a blue jacket and white pants. Although he looks like he is wearing running sneakers, Britney looks barefoot as she wraps her arms around his neck and leans in for a smooch.
The two then stroll hand in hand toward the camera and then cuddle up beneath the flower arches for yet more kissing. At one point in the video, Britney poses with her thumb hooked in the hem of her shorts, while Sam mimics her pose, tugging his jacket across his body.
However, when the video cuts again, Sam’s jacket is gone as Britney adjusts her top. At various points in the video, a blue bra can be seen underneath her shirt, depending on whether she’s wearing the sleeves up or down.
In the caption, Britney wrote, “Ok so I’m proud of my flowers 🌹🌺🌸💐!!! I’ve been pretty modest about my home 🏡 !!! I’m redesigning my house !!! I feel so blessed to be with such an incredible husband who inspires me every day 🥰 !!! Have a brilliant day my friends and godspeed ✨✨✨ !!!”
It seems that Britney is trying to put on a more united front with her husband and even shared a video of one of his friends in her Instagram Stories. “First time hanging with one of my hubby’s friends !!!” she wrote in the caption before she seemed to switch gears and talk about her two teenage sons.
“My boys are at that awkward age where I haven’t been able to shoot them for 4 years … @samasghari is sort of silly about it too,” she added, hinting that Sam might be camera shy, despite being an actor. “It was cool to make contact yesterday !!!”
It seems that Britney might be talking about "making contact" with her sons, as her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, revealed that he wants to move to Hawaii with the two boys, as his current wife, Victoria Prince, got a job offer at the University of Hawaii.
Kevin Federline Wants To Move Britney's Two Sons To Hawaii
On Tuesday morning, sources told TMZ that Kevin Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, was writing a letter to Britney's lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, to formally ask her permission to allow the boys to move to Hawaii with K-Fed and his family.
If the "Stronger" singer agrees to the move, then all will proceed as planned and the family is reported to be making the move in July. However, if she tries to fight it, then the matter will go to a judge. Considering that the outlet reported that Britney hasn't even seen her sons in about a year, it seems likely that a judge would agree to the move, since K-Fed has had primary custody of the boys for years.
In a new TV special called “Britney Spears: The Price of Freedom,” which aired last Monday, TMZ Producer Katie Hayes claims that by the end of the summer of 2022, tensions between Britney and her two teenage sons “got so bad that the boys weren’t even responding to her texts and she was furious.”
However, TMZ’s executive producer Charles Latibeaudiere went on to say, “Recently, there have been occasional texts between Britney and her kids, so maybe the ice is thawing a bit.” Hawaii is also a favorite vacation spot for the singer, so fans are hoping that Britney will make amends with her sons soon.
The special also alleged that Britney's relationship with Sam was in "deep trouble," alleging that they had "screaming matches" that "have been frequent" and "have gotten so volatile security has had to step in."
However, Sam took to his Instagram Stories to warn fans not to believe everything they read online, especially when it comes to his relationship with Britney, and called the new feature about her life after her conservatorship "absolutely disgusting." Those comments can be seen here.
