Yes, the finale show was the one that disappoint Mr. Carter so much. The final show for his “Welcome To Tha Carter Tour” was at the Wiltern in Los Angeles on Saturday when he had to address the crowd for their lack of enthusiasm.

Wayne rapped some of his hits for a solid 30 minutes before taking a break to allow some of the other artists from Cash Money to perform. Allan Cubas, Yaj, and Lil Twist came on stage, did their thing and left.

When the superstar rapper returned to the stage, he wasn’t happy. He immediately called out the audience for how they responded to the up-and-coming artists he allowed on stage. Wayne spoke intentionally into the mic and slammed the audience in a nonchalant way.

He says to Allan Cubas, “We appreciate it, but we ain’t about to be bending over backward for these folks. We work too hard for this s**t. We work way too hard.”

The rapper continued to call out the unappreciative L.A. audience. “This my mother f***ing artist Allan, that was Twist, that was Yaj; we are Young Money. We appreciate y’all time.” Then, in the ultimate power move, the rapper literally did a mic drop (put it down gently for fear of feedback, still so damn considerate) and walked off the stage.

He took his talented crew with him and bounced! The concertgoers stuck around assuming this was somehow a part of the show but they were dead wrong. The lights came on an indicator that the show is over.

You don’t have to go home but you gotta get the hell out of Wiltern! In case they didn’t know an announcement was made telling them to exit the building in an orderly fashion. These people must have forgotten that Wayne doesn’t have to work anymore. He’s good!

Shining a light on new artists is important to him. Has he steered fans wrong yet? Drake, Nicki Minaj, Blueface, maybe he knows what he’s doing.

Of course, the crowd hopped on social media to express their anger towards Wayne for just leaving like that, they paid for a show after all.

“Went to the lil wayne concert tonight. we waited 3 hours for him. then it was lit it was cool then he brought out some of his new artists along with lil twist they was whack. wayne got mad and canceled the show. I'm still in disbelief like he really did that. smh #lilwayne.”

“I will never go to another Lil Wayne concert again after he arrived 3.5 hours late then performed for 30 had intermission put his new artist to perform then came out and canceled the rest of the concert because the crowd wasn’t hype enough for his new artist. #wiltern #lilwayne.”

From the comments, it seems like a majority of the concertgoers had the same consensus the show even with the 30 minutes was lackluster. They are ripping the artist apart online. Yikes.
