After thanking her follower for asking about her son, she said she is "happy to tell you who my baby child was."

She then showed some photos of Lee while talking about them.

She continued talking about each of the photos.

"Oh, I was so angry at him that day, well not angry, but irritated, because I just knew he was gonna be late for the family photos, and Lord knows he was," she continued. She then showed her favorite photo of Lee when he was just 5-years-old.

After showing some treasured photos, she explained what happened to him.

"On June 24th, next month will be a year. The day before his 19th birthday, he went to a gas station to meet somebody. And I had just gotten to my girls trip down there in Gulf Shores, which is our beach here in Alabama," she said. "I'd been there a few hours, really, and we got the call that my son had been shot. And that my son didn't make it."

She then explained that he was at the gas station to meet somebody, and it was that somebody that went into the backseat of Lee's car and "11 seconds later, he pulled the trigger."

"I don't know why. I don't know what was said in that vehicle. I don't know if I'll ever know," she continued. "The alleged shooter is in our county jail right now awaiting trial. So, we still have to go through all that."

Nichols said that's not something she's looking forward to, because it's not just her family that's hurting. It's the other family, too.

"But my baby child was funny. He was a hard worker. He was the most grown up 18-year-old I've ever met in my life," she said. "He lived on his own, paid his own bills, didn't want to ask me for anything, just wanted to do it all by himself. He went through a lot of things after losing his dad, but last year was the best year he had, and it got took from him."

She concluded her video by again thanking her follower for asking about her son, and saying she doesn't mind talking about it.
