Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth can take bathrobes off their wedding registry, because PETA has them covered!
In celebration of the marriage between the stars, the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals is sending Cyrus and Hemsworth a pair of matching bathrobes adorned with “Mr. Vegan” and “Mrs. Vegan.”
The “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” singer has been vegan for a long time due to her love of animals, and she even got her new husband to switch to a plant-based diet a few years ago. They have each been crowned PETA’s Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity throughout the years, and regularly speak on the benefits of not consuming animals.
In fact, when their Malibu home was burning to the ground, Hemsworth was focused on saving all the couple’s farm animals, rather than material possessions.
PETA president, Ingrid Newkirk, tells The Blast, “Miley Cyrus’ and Liam Hemsworth’s compassion have inspired countless people to help animals and go vegan,” adding, “PETA wishes them many more years of promoting kindness to animals together.”
As we reported, Cyrus and Hemsworth obtained a marriage license in Tennessee on December 18, days before they tied the knot. Since the surprise wedding, the stars and their family have been leaking out photos from the night.
