Disney World Cast Member Arrested For Child Pornography

A Walt Disney World Cast Member has been arrested on child pornography charges. He also admitted to sharing photos of his Disney coworkers and sharing their personal contact information on a porn website.

The Orlando Sentinel reports that cops discovered a file-sharing account that contained child pornography at Daniel Riveria's home and on Disney property. Riveria was arrested on Thursday.

It is unclear where Riveria worked at Walt Disney World, but he has since been placed on administrative leave.

"He has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the charges," a Walt Disney World spokesperson told Orlando Sentinel.

In addition to child pornography, Riveria admitted to sharing photos of his coworkers, some of whom were dressed as Disney characters on a website with discussions of "sexual interest." In addition to the images, he also admitted to sharing some of their private contact information on the website.

The investigation began in September after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children informed the Orange County Sheriff's Office about potential child pornography being shared on Dropbox.

Dropbox worked with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the Orange County Sheriff's Office and provided the account information, IP addresses, and dates and times in which the account was accessed from July through September. One of the accounts investigated was linked to Walt Disney World as the location showed "the user was located within Disney office space or Disney property."

After further investigation, the account, which was later linked to Rivera's Winter Garden home, contained two files with child pornography. In total, Rivera had 155 posts, "including several photos of young girls and women he claims he knows," and photos of his Disney coworkers.

The website was taken down in March 2022.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office, Department of Homeland Security, and Florida Department of Law Enforcement searched Rivera's home on Thursday. They found a hard drive containing photos of girls in "erotic poses." He then admitted to searching for and obtaining child pornography "about once a week for the last ten years."

Rivera shared photos to his social media, showing he was recently honored for 20 years of service at Walt Disney World.

The Blast recently reported on another Walt Disney World Cast Member who was arrested after being charged with video voyeurism after he was caught filming under a Guest's dress at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Jorge Diaz Vega, 26, of Kissimmee, Florida, has been secretly filming women at the theme parks for years, admitting to police that he has been looking up Guests' skirts and dresses and secretly filming them for the past six years and has over 500 videos.

According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office arrest report, "Diaz estimated he had over 500 videos on his phone. Diaz takes the videos because it is hard to find them online, and they bring him sexual gratification." Diaz willingly showed law enforcement some of the videos he took and had in his possession. "The videos were of multiple females who all appeared not to know they were being video recorded," the arrest report said.
