T.V. host and comedian Nick Cannon has weighed in on the recurring question of whether he'll consider reconciling with Mariah Carey.
Cannon stated it would be "healthier" for Carey and their children if they remained divorced instead of "recreating" their past. They were married for eight years and currently co-parenting their twins, Moroccan and Monroe.
The "Love Don't Cost a Thing" actor previously compared living with the singer to having "Trump and Putin live in the same house."

Nick Cannon Wants To Stay Divorced From Mariah Carey For His Kids' Sake
In a recent interview, Nick Cannon, 42, shared his thoughts on the possibility of remarrying his ex-lover, Mariah Carey. The "Wild 'N Out" host expressed caution by stating that such a move would be "unhealthy" for her and their children.
Cannon and Carey were married from 2008 to 2014 and share two children. Despite their divorce, the former couple have remained on good terms and have been co-parenting their children. In his recent appearance on "The Jason Lee Show," he explained that he believes their current arrangement is working well and that adding the complication of a new marriage could be detrimental.
"That was over a decade ago, and we are like the best of friends now," he began, per Insider. "I feel like with all of the madness and shit I've accumulated... I think it would be too difficult. One, I believe she's in a relationship, and she's happy. I don't want to disturb you."
Cannon continued, "At the same time, I feel like for our children, which is the best thing and the thing that we both focus on, this scenario is a lot healthier for all of us. Because if we were all under one household, especially in the day and age that we live in, I think the enemy would try to attack from a bunch of different ways."
He Doesn't Care About Remarrying
Cannon reiterated his stand about not being interested in remarrying again. "I speak so highly, but I don't desire it anymore, and that's just because she's moved on. I've moved on several times, so, now we can coexist the way we do," the "Nick Cannon Show" host said.
He continued, "But if I tried to recreate our love story that we had before, it'd never be as great as it was. We got to see it, we lived it, and we can tell that story in the grand scheme of things, these milliseconds that we operate in these molecules."
Cannon has gone on to father ten more children from 5 different women since his divorce from the "Always Be My Baby" songstress.
He has twins Monroe and Moroccan with Carey; he also shares twins Zion and Zillion and a daughter named Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa.
Cannon also fathered three children with Brittany Bell; Golden Sagon, Powerful Queen, and Rise Messiah. He is also dad to Legendary Love, whose mom is Bre Tiesi, and Onyx Ice Cole, with LaNisha Cole.
The "All That" alum also has two children with model Alyssa Scott: a daughter, Halo, and a son, Zen, who unfortunately passed away after suffering a brain tumor.
Nick Cannon On His Experience Living With Mariah Carey
In a recent interview, Cannon likened his experience living with Mariah Carey to having former president Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin living under one roof.
"Imagine if, like, Trump and Putin had to live in the same house," he said, per L.A. Times, as he began to qualify their coexistence. "It wasn't about her and me — we've always been good. It was more about us understanding that instead of making it about our relationship and what I or you want, we should just do what's best for the children."
In a previous episode of "The Hot Tee Talk Show," he referred to the singer as his "fantasy love" and will consider remarrying her if their love could be "the way it was." Cannon expressed his belief in love but shared that he doesn't think he'll ever experience love as he did with Carey.
"It was literally like a fairy tale with Mariah, so I would rather it just be that way, and I appreciate that fantasy because if I try to go back and it wasn't the same, I'd be like, 'Damn, I messed it up,'" he shared. "But if I had the opportunity, I'm there if it could be the way it was."
Nick Cannon Thinks Marriage Is Just 'Business'
Cannon believes marriage is just a business transaction and is not interested in being involved in that kind of arrangement again.
He said in his interview with the L.A. Times, "As a man 'who's made his bones, you're not looking to give half of what you built to someone you don't even know.'"
Although this doesn't mean he doesn't provide for his baby mamas. Cannon previously shared that he does not follow a disciplined style by giving them a "monthly allowance" and would instead give whatever his partners ask of him.
