Like many in this situation, the writer's strike forces the hands of those who want to stand with them in this fight. Hall shared the statement on Twitter.

"Despite rumors, due to the #WGA #WritersStrike filming on #PValley has been postponed. Like many of my fellow showrunners, I feel as though my writing & producing duties are inextricably linked. We will not be filming until a fair deal is reached. #WGAStrong."

She reminded her Twitter followers. "I am also a member of the #DGA, whose #AMPTP contract begins negotiations TODAY. Overlapping issues abound, and we shall see how these stories end. As a writer, I strike with a sense of radical dignity — that our work must be valued for its magic. #WGAStrong #WritersStrike.”

This isn't the first time she has spoken up about the strike. At the beginning of the strike, she retweeted many of her fellow writer's and industry friends' sentiments about the strike, effectively drawing attention to the matter.

But this is the first time she has used her words to agree with the strike. Hall joins others who spoke up about the writer's strike this week. Mayim Bialik chose to step down from filming her last week as the host of Jeopardy.

Gabourey Sidibe spoke to Deadline from the picket lines, where she made it clear she stands with the writers. "I am striking with the writers because if they don't work, I can't work."

Ava Duvernay had a new, untitled show starring everyone's favorite 'Zaddy' Joshua Jackson… not anymore. GoodTrouble, the long-awaited new fifth season, is finally in production, but wait, production is halted.

Okay, well, at least we have Apple TV+ Severance, right? Season two is now on pause. So you see, the writer's strike is not slowing down, and their protests are impacting more and more shows that many were hoping to be able to binge come to Fall.
