The Suspicion That Kyle Jacobs Died By Suicide Has Been Confirmed

Jacobs, aged 49, died unexpectedly at his and Pickler's Nashville home on February 17, in what has now been confirmed as a suicide. Toxicology results disclosed no drugs were found in the "Red Intruder" artist's system at his death, even though he had a "history of pseudoseizures, gastrointestinal bleeding, elevated liver enzymes, and chronic alcohol use," according to docs obtained by Taste of Country.

While pseudoseizures — or Psychogenic Nonepileptic Seizure [PNES]— mimic the physical symptoms of an epileptic seizure, it is caused by underlying psychological conditions. Physical conditions such as low blood sugar can also trigger the crisis.

Pickler and her assistant had alerted the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department when they could not access a room within the house while searching for Jacobs. Upon officers' arrival, they soon discovered that the "The End" hitmaker, who doubled as a songwriter for other notable country music artists, had taken his life through a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

His Death Was Likened To That Of Stephen 'tWitch' Boss

Jacobs himself had celebrated the success of Brice's album, "Hey World," which he co-produced, played acoustic guitar on, and lended background vocals to in a February 15 social media post  — his last update before his death.

"Platinum?! SWEEEET!!! An amazing crew of incredibly talented peeps put this one together…Deeply honored to be a creative part of it…Thank you Jesus!!!" he had typed under the celebratory post.

For many, the update showed that the "Chaos on the Street" singer was in an allegedly good place before his suicide, reminding many of Stephen "tWitch" Boss' passing.

Just like the "Don't Need No Reason" writer, Boss had shared a video of him dancing with his wife, Allison Holker, two days before he died by suicide. He had captioned the heartwarming and bittersweet clip:

"Holiday Sunday Funday Dance! With my lover!!"

The renowned dancer had also taken his life by shooting himself with a gun in the head, per The Blast.
