Chrissy Teigen is proving that she did in fact give birth this year.
The “Cravings” author got wind of fans and trolls accusing her of using a “Moonbump” throughout her most recent pregnancy.
If you’re not familiar with what a “Moonbump” is, let The Blast fill you in.
Chrissy Teigen Shuts Down Troll Who Accused Her Of Using Moonbump
A "moonbump" is a fake stomach that a person wears to make them appear pregnant. According to their website, they’re “made to order fake pregnant bellies.”
Talk of a moonbump started in Chrissy’s comments section on Instagram after she shared an adorable photo of her daughter, Esti Maxine.

One person wrote, “So cute! ❤️Who was the surrogate?”
A true Chrissy fan shot back writing, “She didn’t have a surrogate 🙄.”
“Well… the truth is Chrissy was born male. During ‘her pregnancy’ they used something called a moonbump. If you’re not familiar with the moonbump just Google it. I’m a huge fan of Chrissy by the way,” the person who asked about the surrogate retaliated.
Chrissy saw this and shared it on her Instagram Story.
“Obsessed with this comment,” she wrote in the Story.
Chrissy Shares Candid Photo From Delivery Room!
She followed that up with a photo straight from the delivery room right after giving birth to Esti.
Chrissy captioned the photo, “Extremely realistic ‘moon bump.’”
It’s highly unlikely she’s letting the comments bother her, because earlier this year she admitted she no longer cares what other people think about her.
Speaking to People, she said, “It's easy confidence-wise, and honestly, a lot of the time, confidence is everything with it. You're just not so on edge and worried and you're also not worried about what other people have to say as much."
She shares Luna, Miles, and Esti with her husband, John Legend.
They welcomed their most recent bundle of joy on January 13th.

Legend confirmed the arrival of their sweet baby girl during a private concert telling fans, that they welcomed "the little baby this morning" and that though he "didn't get a lot of sleep" he felt "energized" after spending "a lot of time" at the hospital.
Teigen considers herself a seasoned professional at this point.
"You don't take parenting advice from everybody like before,” she admitted. “I do not accept being shamed about anything. A lot of people think that they're experts on everything, but when you have three of something like that, you know [what you're doing]."
As picturesque as social media can make parenting seem, it’s been far from that for Teigen and Legend.
"I mean, we've seen everything happen. We've dealt with the stitches. We've had a toe almost come off. We've had broken bones. We've seen it all. It's fine,” the cookbook author revealed.
Teigen keeps it extremely real on Instagram and shows all facets of her life as a mother-of-three.

Conceiving Esti wasn’t easy and took Teigen multiple rounds of IVF.
This new IVF cycle comes after Chrissy and John Legend lost their son Jack. The baby boy passed away at birth in September 2020.
