Shakira's Fans BEG Tom Cruise To 'STAY AWAY' After Formula 1 Hangout

Shakira is getting her groove back.

The Colombian native was spotted making new famous friends over the weekend at the Formula 1 race in Miami, Florida.

The new Miami resident was chatting the event away with none other than “Top Gun” Tom Cruise.

According to onlookers and bystanders at Formula 1, the singer and the actor were locked into one another.

Shakira’s two sons also attended the event, and she was very lovey-dovey with them in front of Cruise.

Her fans weren’t exactly thrilled about the hangout with the actor.

“Who’s going to rescue Shakira?” one fan asked.

“Oh no, Shakira, please don’t join his cult,” another tweeted.

Cruise is famously involved with the Church of Scientology and has been a church member since the 1980s.

Several others tweeted things like, “STAY AWAY” and “STAY AWAY FROM HER.”

Since confirming her breakup with former FC Barcelona defender Gerard Piqué, the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer has remained single.

“We regret to confirm that we are separating,” the now-exes — who never married amid their longtime relationship — wrote in a joint statement in June 2022. “For the wellbeing of our children, our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy.”

She was loosely linked to her surf instructor, but she was quick to shut down those rumors.

Piqué, on the other hand, quickly moved on with his Kosmos employee, Clara Chia Marti. It’s rumored she was the woman he was cheating on Shakira with, but that has never been confirmed.

“This is hard to talk about personally, especially as this is the first time I’ve ever addressed this situation in an interview,” Shakira told Elle in a September 2022 profile. “I’ve remained quiet and just tried to process it all. … It’s hard to talk about it, especially because I’m still going through it, I’m in the public eye, and our separation is not like a regular separation.”

Shakira also pointed out that there is a place in hell for people like Marti.

Speaking to Mexican journalist Enrique Acevedo, Shakira admitted she learned much from the split.

Since the split, she’s realized she can be entirely “self-sufficient” after buying “into the story that a woman needed a man to be complete. I’ve always been emotionally dependent on men I’ve fallen in love with, and I think I’ve understood that story from another perspective. Today I am sufficient on my own.”

Shakira continued, “There is a place in hell reserved for women who don’t support other women.”

You may recall that the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer found out Piqué was cheating (allegedly with Marti) on her from an opened jar of jam.

According to ShowNews Today, the Colombian native had returned home from a trip with their children when she found a jar of strawberry jam in their fridge.

It seems harmless if the entire family like strawberry jam, BUT nobody in Shakira’s home likes that kind of jam.

She instantly knew that her children and Piqué do not eat strawberry jam, and so her suspicions that someone had been staying at their home while she was gone grew immensely.

What’s more, the jam had been eaten.

Shakira alluded to the incriminating evidence in her music video for “Te Felicito” featuring Rauw Alejandro.

“When a woman faces life’s battles, she comes out stronger,” Shakira noted.

Shakira focuses solely on her two children, whom she shares with Piqué, and becoming a “lioness” for them.

“That strength comes out of experiencing a painful loss, of accepting it, of tolerating a frustration, of understanding that life doesn’t always bring us what we want,” she explained. “There are dreams that are broken, and you have to pick up the little pieces from the ground and put yourself together again and also be an example to my children.”
