Kevin Hart Asked TikTok Food Reviewer Keith Lee To Try His Restaurant, Hart House

In March, TikTok food reviewer Keith Lee shared a vague video of a phone conversation between him and star Kevin Hart. Almost two months later, Lee's fans now know the context of that call and the amazing opportunity that Lee was offered by Hart.

In two new TikTok videos, Lee's followers get to see him review Hart's restaurant, Hart House, and meet the actor in the process.

While Lee's followers didn't know the context of the call between him and Hart when he originally shared the news, everyone was excited about his opportunity. Now, fast forward a little over a month from that call to now, and Lee's followers know what the call was all about - Hart invited Lee to review his vegan restaurant, Hart House.

"On March 26, Kevin Hart reached out to me and asked me to try his restaurant," Lee began his video. The video then shows the phone call between the two. With Hart on the other end of the phone, followers can now hear the full conversation.

"And right now we're gonna open up our third one. I'm doing it on like Sunset and Hollywood, across the street from Chick-fil-A," Hart can be heard saying on the phone. "Have you do, like, the full what you do and good or bad, we're willing to live with it, take the gamble."

Lee explained that Hart's restaurant is all vegan food, and that's not something that Lee loves. And while he's been vocal about the fact that he's not a fan of vegan food and said he will be 100 percent real whether he thinks the food is good or not, Hart was still game.

"The number one thing I was concerned with, other than this being vegan food, is that this place is on Sunset Boulevard," Lee said. "Vegan food on Sunset Boulevard in California has to be crazy expensive. They put this meal in front of me under $15."

He then explained that he got a salad recently that cost $20, so this was surprising to him since he hasn't been anywhere in the area and had not spent a lot.

Lee began with the french fries, which he says he's very picky about.

He loved the fries saying, "Very fast food fries, very seasoned, like they put a lot of salt on this." He rated the fries an 8.9 out of 10, which is a huge compliment from Lee.

Then it was time to try the vegan deluxe hot and crispy chicken sandwich. One bite was all it took for Lee to be hooked. He was shocked that he was eating a vegan chicken sandwich.

"If you gave me that and you didn't tell me it was vegan, I would have no idea," he said. "No idea. Unlike a lot of vegan food I've had, that texture is really pleasing to me. It's spicy. It's crispy. It's crunchy. It takes like a chicken sandwich. Compared to other fast-food chicken sandwiches I've ever had, that is extremely high. I genuinely can't believe I'm saying this."

He then rated it a 9.3 out of 10. Anyone who's a loyal follower of Lee knows how hard it is to get that high of a rating.

Lee continued his video with a review of the tater tots, Hart House sauce, iced tea, and an Oreo milkshake.

"A lot of Oreo milkshakes taste the same, but this is more chocolate-forward than it is vanilla-forward," he said. "A lot of milkshakes I've had is like, just straight vanilla ice cream with a little bit of Oreo. This all Oreo with a little bit of ice cream."

He concluded his video with a message for Hart.

"I don't know what you're doing over here at Hart House, Kev, but you doing it," he said. "That's what you're doing. I can't believe I gave anything higher than a 9. I really can't."

The video shared on TikTok received more than 10 million views in just a few short hours. Lee's followers were excited about his review and took to the comments to share their thoughts and jokes.

"Wow, Kevin Hart finally made it after this review. Well done," one follower wrote. Another added, "This Kevin Hart guy might just make it!"

Popular TikToker Elyse Myers also had a comment for Lee. "Keith I cannot tell you how wildly proud I am of you. Every single opportunity you receive is well-earned. You make this world a better place!"

In a follow-up video, Lee shared an interaction that happened with Hart after his review.

"Listen, I've very big on relationships, I'm big on moments. I stepped out of the car and I didn't know which way the car would go," Hart said.

"I said imma reach out to my guy because he's doing amazing things for food and I said I really wanted the value of someone's opinion that people hold on such a standard in today's time. So I reached out to Keith and he said, 'Kev, imma come, imma do it.'"

Hart further explained that he didn't want to be there when Lee tried the food, and he crossed his fingers and closed his eyes. He wanted a real reaction and was thankful that Lee gave him just that.

"I value the things you've been doing, and the response people have been giving you is well deserved," Hart told Lee.

"So many people follow your tastebuds to heaven, brother. I am bowing down to a man that's positioning himself as the new king of taste."
