Chris Brown Off the Hook in $10k Designer Lawsuit, Case Dismissed

Chris Brown won't have to fork over major cash to a former costume designer because the judge has thrown out the lawsuit against him.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a hearing was held in Los Angeles court on Thursday and neither party showed up. As a result, the judge has dismissed the case.

As we reported, the "Undecided" singer was sued back in December by the former costume designer for his tour, Perry L. White, who claimed he never received payment from the star. White claimed Brown owed him $10,000 for the clothes he designed for the singer’s last tour, “Heartbreak On a Full Moon.”

This is good news for Brown, who's been dealing with an ample amount of legal issues over the past year, including fighting with his baby mama over child support, allegations of pushing drugs on women and his former manager accusing him of withholding information in their case.
