Amber Heard's New Life In Madrid Revealed, Has She Left Hollywood?

Amber Heardwasn’t kidding when she indicated that she would be leaving the United States for good. She is still in Madrid!

The actress, or should we say former actress now? (we’ll discuss that later) was spotted in Madrid this week with her daughter Oognah Paige Heard, a friend and a nanny. She was walking the streets like it was her neighborhood and apparently, it is!

The Aquaman actress has seemingly moved to the Spanish capital for however long she feels fit. Wearing a white t-shirt, a black long wrap skirt, and a crossbody bag she hit the streets to run errands and tried to not make eye contact with the cameras snapping pics of her.

This is a way more toned-down Heard from the distressed one fans experienced during her tumultuous trial against Johnny Depp who she accused of spousal abuse among other horrific things.

While she lost that battle and was then countersued by Depp for defamation last summer and ordered to pay him a tummy-aching $15 million as a result, she looked to be in good spirits.

For someone who owes that amount of money to one person shouldn’t she be stateside working? Apparently not! It was revealed by the Daily Mail’s Alison Boshoff that Heard is making Mdrid her home.

She speaks the language and loves the low-key lifestyle. “I can reveal that Heard has quit Hollywood and quietly relocated to Spain with her young daughter Oonagh,” claims Boshoff. “She’s bilingual in Spanish and is happy there, raising her daughter away from all the noise.”

She went on to share that a friend of Heard’s told her, “I don’t think she is in any hurry to return to work or to Hollywood, but she will probably come back when the time is right, for the right project.”

The only project that the former actress has on the go currently is Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom. It was only recently confirmed that she would be appearing in the sequel. Her role as Mera was up in the air after her trial against Depp went nuts and took over everything.

Like many people in the industry, Heard live in Hollywood for her career. She owned a home in Yucca Valley, California that sold in July 2022 for $1.1 million. She was then spotted in the Hamptons for a short time before jetting off to Europe.

More specifically, Palma de Mallorca, Spain, which initially looked like a fun mommy/daughter vacation. But, Heard and her little one are still there and both look pretty acclimated to life there. As we mentioned earlier, Heard is walking around the Spanish-speaking country like she owns the joint!

After following along with that Heard/Depp trial one can see why she would want to get the heck out of town. Heard hasn’t spoken up herself regarding the move yet but the pictures of her in the city seem to be telling the story pretty well.
