Sofia Richie, the youngest daughter of Lionel Richie, is showing delightful support for her father ahead of his performance at the upcoming British Royal coronation.
The supermodel, who was on her honeymoon with her newly wedded husband Elliot Grainge, surprisingly cut their trip short to make an appearance in London, looking as breathtaking as ever.
Sofia Richie Shares Proof Of Her Presence In London To Support Her Dad At The Coronation
Sofia, who recently married the son of Lucian Grainge, chairman and CEO of Universal Music Group in the south of France, is the perfect daughter amid her father's preparations for King Charles III's coronation concert.
She returned to London for the ceremony and revealed so on her Instagram Story using a photo of herself with another female pal on the city streets. The California native looked stunning in a brown coat, burgundy hat, and dark sunglasses as she smiled at the camera with her blonde tresses flowing around her shoulders.
Several tall buildings and vehicles were captured in the background, with the clear blue sky flattering her new features. Sofia added a text overlay at the bottom of the post indicating her reason for returning to the city. She wrote, "Back in London for @lionelrichie."
Before her London visit, she posted a few snippets on Instagram from her honeymoon with her husband, captioning it, "Husband Trip." The images showed the couple basking in the sun on a scenic beach, and the 24-year-old appeared entranced with the moment.
In one of the slides, she and Elliot enjoyed a bath in the waters with the sea and blue sky in the background. Rocking a white off-the-shoulder blouse with floral designs and matching pants, Sofia looked terrific, similar to her lover, who was dressed in a black and white striped shirt.
Another snap featured the lovebirds surrounded by palm trees as they enjoyed a bike ride together. The unforgettable honeymoon came on the heels of their lavish wedding ceremony graced by big names in Hollywood.
The event was held at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, where the duo, who courted for more than a year, cemented their forever love. The bride was spectacular in a jaw-dropping custom Chanel wedding gown, designed with her "something blue," an "S&E," and the wedding date.
Her dad, Lionel, walked her down the aisle in front of celebrity guests like Paris Hilton and her husband, Carter Reum, Cameron Diaz, and Sofia's sister's brother-in-law, Benji Madden.
Like his partner, the groom stole the show in a classic black tuxedo, a black bow tie, and an elegant white shirt. He then spiced his look with a pair of sunglasses. A year before tying the knot, the twosome got engaged in a romantic setting, as seen in the beautiful photos shared on the gram at the time.
Elliot was captured going down on one knee, asking for Sofia's hand in marriage at the Four Seasons Hualalai with precious white flowers and candles surrounding them. One of the shots the cheerful social media personality shared featured the couple locking lips while her luxury diamond engagement ring was clearly in view.
"Forever isn't long enough, @elliot," she penned in the caption, and well-wishers headed to the comments to send congratulatory messages.
The Fashion Designer's Father Vowed To Give A Glorious Show At King Charles' Coronation Concert
Days before Sofia's honeymoon, it was announced that her father was added to the list of performers at the imminent Royal coronation concert on Sunday, May 7. Per The Blast, Lionel felt honored and spoke at an awards ceremony about the inclusion, swearing not to disappoint his fans.
He confessed how shocking the news was, saying, "I mean, you don't get in the business and say, 'You know what? I'll be at the King's coronation.' That never comes up."
The legendary musician added that he celebrated the monarch, whom he has known for a while, "now stepping into the king role." He also had only good things to say about King Charles as he called him a "wonderful person" while revealing what he anticipated most at the ceremony.
Lionel shared, "Come on. Are you kidding me? I want to see the pomp and circumstance," before promising that his show would be "glorious of superb."
