Women From Zach Shallcross's 'Bachelor' Season Bond Over 'Trauma'

Zach Shallcross's season of "The Bachelor" was a messy one. Fans attacked the show's leader for how he approached some things, which he agrees he could have handled better -- especially Fantasy Suite week.

Despite fighting for the same guy, some women from this past season became extremely close. They all hung out this past weekend for a "girls' weekend" in Florida, bonding over the "trauma" they all faced.

Zach Shallcross faced backlash for sending home many women, including Jess Girod and Mercedes Northup, who was sent home semi-early.

He then faced backlash for how he handled Fantasy Suite week. Going into Fantasy Suite week, Shallcrosss decided to make a "no sex" rule as he wanted to focus more on the emotional side of the relationships rather than the physical in an attempt not to let things get messy one week before a potential engagement.

However, things did not go as planned, as Shallcross broke his rule after having admitted to sleeping with Gabi Elnicki. Not only did he break his power, he then went on to "kiss and tell" as he opened up to host Jesse Palmer and another contestant, Kaity Biggar.

He then sent Ariel Frenkel home that same week, which had Bachelor Nation fuming.

Despite facing the "trauma" on "The Bachelor," Kaity Biggar, Gabi Elnicki, Ariel Frenkel, Jess Girod, and Mercedes Northup, remained close friends and spent the weekend together in Florida.

Frenkel shared a video of the girls hanging out, including Frenkel, Elnicki, and Biggar, wearing beach dresses of the same color they wore during the infamous rose ceremony after Fantasy Suite week.

Frenkel captioned the video, "Trauma bonds brought us here ♥️," to which Northup responded, "Trauma bonded forever & I'm so thankful for it. I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH ?."

Kaity Biggar, who ended up winning over Zach Shallcross as the two got engaged at the end of "The Bachelor" and remain together to this day, also shared a video to Instagram from their Florida girls' weekend.

The Reel show various clips of the women from over the weekend, having fun and bonding.

"AND THATS A WRAP FOLKS☀️?️ ?," she captioned the post.

Gabi Elnicki commented on the video, "The gum on baby Jess's foot ??," as did Ariel Frenkel, who said, "Love this and YOU." Jess Girod also commented, "Best weekend ever ?."

Other fans chimed in, loving that the women stayed friends after such a dramatic season. "The maturity and healthy relationships this season's cast has > ?????????," one fan said, while another expressed, "I'm so happy you all hang out! I've noticed that many people in the past who have been the ones to end up engaged don't appear to have the same relationship with the rest of the women and men you seem to have with these amazing ladies. So happy to see that you are all friends!"
