Ariana Grande Pays Tribute to Mac Miller on Late Rapper's Birthday

Ariana Grande is remembering her ex Mac Miller on what would have been the rapper's 27th birthday.

The "7 Rings" singer shared a picture on her Instagram Story on Saturday. The black and white photo shows Mac and Ariana in the studio together, presumably when they were dating.

Ariana Grande also posted a tweet at 12:13 AM, simply writing, "miss u."

The singer's relationship with the rapper has been scrutinized since his death, with trolls holding her responsible for his passing and some accusing her of milking their relationship following the tragedy.

As The Blast reported, Mac Miller died in his home this past September at the age of 26 from a deadly mixture of cocaine, fentanyl, and alcohol.

One week later, Ariana Grande broke her silence on his death.

“i’m so sorry i couldn’t fix or take your pain away. i really wanted to,” Grande wrote at the time, adding Mac Miller was “the kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved.”

Ariana and Mac dated for two years before breaking up in May 2018, just two months before her engagement to Pete Davidson.
