Kevin Hart Shares Fresh Details On Jamie Foxx's Health, Says There's Been 'A Lot Of Progressions'

Actor Kevin Hart has given an update on his friend Jamie Foxx's health.

Hart shared the news while speaking to listeners on the "Impulsive" podcast, saying there have been "a lot of progressions." He also noted that he has no "exact details" about Foxx's health scare despite being close pals with him.

Recently, Foxx posted on Instagram after weeks of being away, thanking fans for their love and prayers amid hospitalization. The Grammy Award winner was filming his Netflix film "Back in Action" with Cameron Diaz before his health emergency.

Per Page Six, Foxx's pal, the award-winning comedian Hart has confirmed that the actor's condition is improving.

The "Central Intelligence" star said during his appearance on the "Impulsive" podcast on Wednesday that there has been "a lot of progression" in Foxx's health following his health scare that has kept him hospitalized.

There is still no confirmation of what is wrong with Foxx, and even Hart admitted that he does not have "exact details" despite his closeness with the actor.

"They're being tight … about where he is because Jamie's always been a private person to a certain degree," Hart said about the 55-year-old "Django" star.

He added, "Everybody's prayers, love, energy — all that stuff is seen and felt. In this case, man, you want the guy to escape the situation and then return home."

On Wednesday, Foxx returned to social media after weeks of being away to thank fans for their support and prayers.

"Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed." he wrote on black background, adding heart and fox emojis.

Fans in the comment section voiced their happiness over seeing a post from him that confirmed he was on the mend.

"Been holding my damn breath!!! Thank God he is doing better," a follower said, while another commented, "What a relief to see a post. Sending prayers up for you."

Another follower, "Sending you positive vibes and energy and praying for complete healing, comfort, and an abundance of all that you need in your life right now."

"Get well; you scared the shiiit out of us. We already lost Jerry Springer. We can't afford to lose Ray Charles right now," a fourth said, referencing the actor's role in the Ray Charles biopic.

The post, which has since garnered over half a million likes, comes in the wake of Foxx's daughter revealing that he "experienced a medical complication" on April 11.

"We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday," Corrine wrote about Foxx, per Daily Mail.

She added, "Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already recovering. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time."

Before suffering a health scare, the Grammy Award winner was filming his Netflix film "Back in Action" alongside Cameron Diaz.

The medical issue occurred off-set, and Foxx was not transported to the hospital in a production vehicle. In Foxx's absence, a stand-in was deployed. However, according to People, filming was "shut down" for a day following his hospitalization.

In the meantime, it is unclear when Foxx will be given the all-clear to go home from the hospital. Sources recently said the actor "needs all the prayers and well-wishes his fans can muster."

Last week, it was reported that Foxx is being held under "observation," although there was no indication that he has issues with his cognitive abilities.

"He's OK, thank God," a source said, per People. "He's still in the hospital, and doctors are running tests, but he's awake and alert. They're keeping him under observation."

Although Foxx appears to be on the mend, his family has remained silent regarding the nature of his medical emergency.
