Chris Brown intends to sue the woman who accused him of rape for defamation.
Brown's lawyer in France, Raphael Chiche, made the announcement after Brown's release from prison, saying Brown "vigorously challenges the charges against him. A complaint for slanderous denunciation will be filed tomorrow with the Public Prosecutor of Paris."
Brown has not been charged with a crime and was released from police custody.
The singer loudly proclaimed his innocence on social media on Tuesday, writing, "I WANNA MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR…… THIS IS FALSE AND A WHOLE LOT OF CAP!"

As The Blast first reported, Chris Brown has maintained his innocence and was telling people he was at the hotel on the night in question. But we’re told Brown maintained he had gone to a different room when the alleged incident went down.
Brown was detained by authorities in Paris after a woman filed a rape complaint against the singer. Two other people were detained in addition to Brown.
