Guests visiting Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California, were in for a shock when they noticed a giant rat scurrying around -- and no, it wasn't Remy.

Although guests call the rat Remy, the adorable rat chef from Disney-Pixar's "Ratatouille," this rat was real -- and he was friendly, getting close to people's feet as they waited for the Disney parade to come by.

A Disneyland Guest caught the rat on video, showing Disney Cast Members attempting to guide the rat to a safe space away from Guests.

People were standing around Main Street, U.S.A., waiting for the "Magic Happens" parade to come by, but the rat had other ideas as he seemingly wanted to lead the parade.

"Remy said you're not leaving me out of the damn parade," the Disney Guest hilariously captioned the video.

Fans thought the video was quite cute, as they had some fun in the comments section. "'If the ducks can do it, I'm gonna do it too!'" one fan wrote regarding Donald and Daisy Duck, who make appearances in the parade, as another chimed in, "'Do you know who I am?! I'm Mickey's cousin! He gave the VIP package!'"

A third commented, "The Ratatouille costume is so realistic."

Baby Alligator Swims Around Magic Kingdom

Baby Alligator Spotted Inside Magic Kingdom At Disney World
TikTok | Disney Parks Live

Last month, Guests spotted a baby alligator swimming around the lake by Tom Sawyer Island inside Magic Kingdom over at Walt Disney World. Luckily, the reptile did not seem to come close to any of the Guests, but that did not stop anyone from filming the alligator as he swam around the water.

Alligators are pretty common in Disney World. In fact, since 2016, over 200 alligators have been removed from the parks and their surrounding areas. They often live in the lakes by the resorts and hotels, though sometimes they will venture into the Parks, just like this baby alligator who decided to visit Magic Kingdom.

Guests were waiting for the "Magic Happens" parade when they spotted the rat, which debuted days before the COVID-19 pandemic shut down the Disneyland Parks. Due to the pandemic, Disneyland reopened its Parks in "phases," meaning fireworks and parades were among the last things to return to the Parks.

As Disney announced its 100th-anniversary celebrations, which is being called Disney100 Celebration, the Parks also announced the return of "Magic Happens."

The official Disneyland website describes the "Magic Happens" parade as follows:

As part of the Disney100 Celebration at Disneyland Resort, celebrate the return of this unforgettable spectacle that reminds us you don’t need wings to fly, shooting stars are for wishes and magic doesn’t end at midnight!

With a wave of his wand, Mickey Mouse leads a cavalcade of fabulous floats, whimsically costumed performers and popular Disney pals around the park and into your hearts—all while moving to a high-energy contemporary musical score that puts a spin on classic Disney hits. In addition, a stirring song co-composed by singer-songwriter Todrick Hall brings some of your favorite Disney tales to life like never before.

Watch Moana ride the crest of a beautiful wave in her voyager canoe, followed by Coco’s guitar-strumming Miguel joined by his dog Danté and other fantastical spirit animals and behold the enchanted forest from Frozen 2 as Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven pass by. The parade’s grand finale commemorates memorable moments from Disney classics in an incredible procession that’s not to be missed!
