The actress, who has had guest spots on shows like Girls, Suits, and Chicago Fire, couldn't believe her body's reaction after being violated in what was meant to be a safe space.

She dropped the news on Substack via a blog she writes with Diablo Cody. The writing project poses a question, and Diablo and Mollen respond with a story. This time, Mollen was asked, "Tell Me a Time You Were Molested" She proceeded to tell the story.

"I'd been invited to the millennial spa for a comped massage and an adaptogen-infused latte with the understanding that I would talk favorably about the experience on social media." She invited her mom to experience this with her.

"Despite his initial comments about respecting my space and modesty, the therapist didn't try to avoid my glutes, nor did he seem self-conscious about getting too close to my breasts." The creepy massage therapist asked Mollen questions like "Can I touch here" and whispered it in her ear. WTF!

Mollen shared that even though she felt uncomfortable, she allowed him to continue his job. While laying on her back, he rubbed her breast, allegedly part of the massage, and then "his hand moved to my vagina."

Mollen felt like she was "hallucinating" and was "frozen in shock." He even tried to take it further until Mollen managed to muster up the courage to remind this random man that she was a very uninterested married woman.

Mollen has been married to American Pie star Jason Biggs since 2008. She admits that at first, she thought it was all in her head and felt like the touching, while a bit much was "innocuous," but wised up once things started to get weirder.

She says of the  2020 incident, "It was a slow and subtle assault that I felt somehow complicit in."

Jenny Mollen Further Endured Trauma

Once the massage was over, Mollen recalls the masseuse waiting for her "'Sorry again about all that.' He said to her after initially apologizing once she told him a stern, resounding "no" in the room.

He also asked her to keep this "between us" because he "could get fired," as if he offered her some premium service. Mollen spent the rest of her time being nice to this creep because trauma will do that to you.

He encouraged her to rebook and promised it wouldn't happen again. He even raised his kids to make her feel better; "Two boys are scary. I must be extra careful to ensure I'm not raising two little rapists."

She shared, "While my massage was free, I still paid my mom's treatment and even tipped thirty percent on both services before leaving. I don't know what I was thinking or even if I was. I just wanted to expedite the process and leave before anyone noticed something was off."

She told her mom on the drive home and feared for her life afterward. "When I told my mom what had happened, her face dropped. "I'm going back there!" she exclaimed.

"No!" I protested, "We can't. I don't want him to know who I am or where I live." I was scared in the way that children get scared. None of my thoughts were rational. I just wanted to get under my covers and hide."

Jenny Mollen Tried To Get Justice

Once she built up the mental strength, she contacted the spa that essentially tried to turn things around on her, and when that didn't help, she went to the police.

"I went to the police station to ask more questions. There I learned that to lodge a formal complaint; I would need to go downtown to the special victims unit for questioning. The massage therapist would be arrested at his home. They would then bring him in and ask for his account of the events. It would be a back-and-forth of his word against mine. Most cases don't go to court, but if this did, my writing and any other public information about me could and would be used against me."

To this day, he still works at the spa, according to Mollen, who looks him up occasionally.
