Alec Baldwin Does NOT Want His Kids To Follow Him Into The Movie Industry!
Earlier this week, the 65-year-old actor shared a photo on Instagram that featured him posing outside of his trailer with his "Rust" costar. Although Alec is not wearing his usual "Rust" costume, Easton is, as he holds his bangs off of his forehead with one hand.
“With Easton Malcolm. The next Brad Pitt. I kid you not,” Alec wrote in the caption. Many fans praised Alec and his acting ability, although a few of his followers thought that he was actually posing with his own son!
One fan asked, “Would you ever get your sons involved in the movies?” Alec Baldwin replied with just one word: “No.”
How Many Children Does Alec Baldwin Have?
Baldwin’s oldest daughter, Ireland Baldwin, is a model that he shares with his ex-wife, “Batman” actress Kim Basinger. The two were married from 1993 to 2002. Ireland is now 27 and expecting her first child, a daughter named Holland, with her boyfriend, producer RAC.
In 2012, Alec Baldwin married Hilaria Baldwin, born Hillary Lynn Hayward-Thomas in Boston, Massachusetts. Only one year after they wed, they gave birth to their first daughter, Carmen Gabriela, in August 2013. Carmen is the eldest of Hilaria and Alec’s seven children.
In June 2015, the couple welcomed their first son: Rafael Thomas. Only one year later, they welcomed their second son and third child, Leonardo Ángel Charles, on September 2016. Although his name is Leonardo, the couple has nicknamed him Leo, and Alec occasionally calls him “Leoncito.”
In May 2018, the couple had their third son and fourth child: Romeo Alejandro David. Believe it or not, the couple had originally decided that their next son would be named Diego, but only a few days before he was born, Hilaria got the sense that the name wouldn’t work and it was later switched to Romeo.
"He didn't have a name for two days," Hilaria told PEOPLE at the time. "His name that we were pretty set on the entire time was Diego, which I still really love. I told my kids, 'Diego is gonna come,' and they were all waiting for him."
On September 8, 2020, the couple welcomed their fifth child and fourth son, Eduardo ‘Edu’ Pao Lucas. Hilaria revealed that she suffered two miscarriages seven months apart in 2019 and often refers to Edu as their “rainbow baby.”
María Lucía Victoria came only six months after Edu and was born via surrogate on February 25, 2021. This is the couple’s sixth child and second daughter. Hilaria calls her Lucía in many of her Instagram posts, which often feature Lucía and Edu posing side by side.
The couple’s seventh child and third daughter, Ilaria Catalina Irena, was born on September 22, 2022. "How grateful we feel to welcome our newest little daughter into this world," the couple told PEOPLE at the time. "Just as magical and filled with love as every other little person we have been blessed with."
Alec Missed Ilaria's Seven-Month Birthday When He Was Away Filming 'Rust'
Just last week, Hilaria took to Instagram to share a video of the youngest Baldwinito surrounded by many members of the family. Although she just turned 7 months old, Alec Baldwin was away filming “Rust” in Montana and was not there to celebrate the milestone.
“ilaria catalina irena: 7 months of bringing happy to us. You and your siblings are guiding lights and such blessings. The Dedes (Edu and Lu) feel responsible to be your translators: ‘baby no like food! Baby no like it!’” Hilaria wrote in the caption.
“It’s taking a min to get you to like solids…but we anticipate a lifetime filled with amazing meals with you. Your facial expressions of surprise and disgust are cutely epic,” she continued, joking, “We promise you: food is good!!!”
