Sophie Turner accidentally shared a video of her daughter on IG and is now desperate to take it all back!
Sophie Turner Pleads With Fans
The Game of Thrones alum took to social media to implore her followers and whomever else this video leaked to stop sharing it immediately. "Earlier today, I made an honest mistake accidentally posting a video of our daughter on Instagram stories," the mom of two said via another IG Stories post.
"We have always advocated for our kid's rights to privacy, so sharing this publicly is against anything I stand for. Our children deserve the right to grow out of the public eye, to learn and grow in private," continued the dynamic message.
All this to say, "If I ever were to post anything about our kids, know that it is unquestionably a mistake. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone reposted on any other platform, please delete the video."
Sophie Turner And Joe Jonas Never Talk About The Kids
The actress and her husband have made it a point to discuss their kids in interviews rarely, and they don't share pictures of them either. The couple sometimes goes as far as covering up their kids when they leave the house, especially as newborns.
So, when she shared the video, fans were probably shocked but assumed she was letting her guard down a bit as some celeb parents who follow the same practice do. This is not the case, and it bothered Turner and Jonas enough for her to take to social media to plead.
Out of respect for Turner's plight, The Blast will 100% not share the accidentally leaked video and screenshots. Turner and Jonas are also private about their lives, so this photo drop thing goes against her core.
Is This A 'PR Stunt'?
Some followers are taking to Twitter to fight this out and take sides. Followers are accusing Turner of another PR stunt. "#sophieturner and her never-ending PR - privacy drama after calling the paps every day, posing for them just to turn around and make 'Respect my privacy "videos for foolish gullible folks," slammed one follower.
While another felt she had every right and believed the leak was an accident. "This is something we should respect. Anyone who reposted the video should delete it," they thought. Meanwhile, when asked about their kids in interviews, Turner and Jonas keep that same energy.
Turner told Elle UK they only leave their kids for actual events. "Every time Joe and I do a red carpet together, we ensure it's for the right reason and makes sense for our careers. You never want to market yourself as a celebrity couple. It's not that cool."
They chose to do less to protect their kids and keep that over-hyped celebrity status at bay.
"My daughter never asked for any of this. I know what it can do to your mental health to be in this industry, be photographed daily, and have comments. I don't want her to deal with it unless she says," Turner insists.
"This is what I want to do. We're quite strict about that. We'll encourage her to do whatever she wants, but I don't think we would professionally let her do anything until she's 18. I also strongly feel about my daughter not becoming a nepotistic child."
