Kyle Richards Slams 'Fake Ad' Using Her Image
According to the Daily Mail, Richards, 54, slammed a fake weight loss ad that used her image to promote their brand. The ad, which appeared on social media platforms, claimed that she had lost significant weight using their product.
In response, the "Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills" star took to social media to set the record straight by distancing herself from the product. She posted a screenshot of the ad and told her followers, "Do not buy these!"
"This website is a scam and using my images," she added, posting pictures of BioScience's Keto-ACV gummies. "This is a fake ad. I have not endorsed this product or ever taken anything like this... These are not my words in these ads."
Kyle Richards Has Been Accused Of Using Ozempic
There has been controversy surrounding Richards' toned physique as she was accused of using the controversial weight loss drug, Ozempic. Ozempic is a medication that is used to treat type 2 diabetes, but it has also been approved for use as a weight loss aid.
The controversy began in January when "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star, Melissa Gorga, accused Richards of using Ozempic to lose weight but later apologized after Richards spoke up against the rumors.
The "I Want To Be a Hilton" alum claimed that she didn't know what Ozempic was before the uproar on her physique and only started losing weight after she gave up alcohol, bread, pasta, and sugar.
"I eat protein, fruit, and vegetables," she stated. "Now that I am the weight I want to be, I will have the occasional small amount of pasta, etc., once in a while. But no alcohol since July 15."
The 'RHOBH' Star Is Frustrated With The Allegation
According to the Daily Mail, the allegations that Richards resorted to Ozempic to achieve her thin frame have caused significant frustration for her. She told the news outlet that it's frustrating to see the credit for her hard work go to a "cheat drug."
She said, "When people blame my appearance on surgery or Ozempic, which would be completely irresponsible to use when diabetics can't get their hands on it, it's frustrating."
"It bothers me. I'd rather inspire people with what I'm doing so they can try the same things I've been doing and see what happens to them," she added.
Richards has been vocal about her weight-loss struggles and has always been transparent about her methods to maintain a healthy weight. She shares snapshots of herself in the gym every other time, even posting workout tips and routines with her followers.
Kyle Richards Shuts Down Divorce Rumors
The Bravolebrity has been in the headlines recently after rumors started swirling that her marriage to Mauricio Umansky was standing on shaky grounds. However, Richard recently came forward to debunk the rumors, stating that they stemmed from a "stupid picture."
The picture was taken some time ago when Richards was seen leaving the gym in blue leggings, a black tank, and sneakers with her wedding ring off.
"It started all from a stupid picture of me without a ring on," she told Page Six, adding that her reason for not donning the ring was twofold.
"A, I haven't been wearing my big diamond ring because there's a lot of crime these days, and I'm like, 'I'm not comfortable,'" she explained. "And B, I had just come from the gym lifting weights, so I was like, 'That thing sparked that?' I don't know."
Richards' husband also weighed in on the rumors during his appearance on the "Two Ts in a Pod with Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge" podcast.
He said, "We're not getting divorced. … I mean, it's so dumb. There's that one stupid story that came out there, and then the girls all, you know, decided to talk about it on the 'Housewives,' and so now it's a storyline."
