Caitlyn Jenner's Skincare Line May Get Torpedoed by Kylie, Kendall & Kris Jenner

Caitlyn Jenner had high hopes of starting her own skincare line, but the project is in danger of going kaput because of her famous family members.
The U.S. Patent & Trademark Office fired off a letter to Caitlyn, obtained by The Blast, informing her that registration applications for "Jenner Skincare" and "Skincare By Jenner" are way too similar to marks registered by Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner and Kris Jenner.
The USPTO office makes it clear that "Jenner Skincare" could confuse customers into believing Kylie, Kendall and Kris are associated with Caitlyn's products, especially since many of the Jenner ladies' registered trademarks have to do with beauty products.
Officials specifically point out Kylie already has a registration for "Kylie Cosmetics by Kylie Jenner," and feel her father using the name "Jenner" will cause a problem.
Perhaps the biggest slap in the face, the trademark attorney claims Cait's proposed name is too similar to that of Kris Jenner. Even though Kris received the surname from her ex-husband, the "KUWTK" maven secured her trademark long before Caitlyn filed paperwork. In the eyes of the USPTO, first application wins.
All hope for the former Olympian's skincare line is not lost, however, as officials don't see a problem with her using "Caitlyn Jenner Skincare" and "Skincare By Caitlyn Jenner" because it makes it clear which Jenner is hawking the products.
