Corinne Olympios Reflects On 'The Bachelor'
During Nick Viall's season, Corinne Olympios first appeared in the "Bachelor" franchise. She was made out to be the "villain" of the show that year, which she has even spoken about, admitting she "acted like a psychopath."
"I was a completely different human at the time. I tried to do whatever I could to get your attention. Everyone freaked out, but I didn't care because I got my time. I was a little upset because I know what a good wife I will be one day and what a good girlfriend I am," she explained her season. "So I felt like that side of me wasn't shown. I felt like I looked like a bimbo."
Once the 31-year-old was sent home by Nick Viall, she admitted she went into a downward spiral and felt depressed. "There were two days when I remember I would not get out of bed," she said. "I was like, 'My life is over. What am I doing? What is this?'"
Luckily, the "Bachelor In Paradise" star had great and supportive friends and fans, and she was able to get better and find her confidence again. "So many women have come up to me and been like, 'You're a f–king queen. You had the guts to do something like that. You make me feel more confident,'" Olympios said. "So there you go, something great came out of it."
After appearing on Nick Viall's "The Bachelor" season, Olympios entered the spin-off reality show "Bachelor In Paradise." While there, she found herself amid a scandal with another contestant, DeMario Jackson, resulting in Warner Bros. stopping filing and launching an internal investigation into a sexual encounter between the two.
Corinne Olympios has not returned to "The Bachelor" franchise since. Instead, she focuses on her social media career and her company, Aura Sugar Co.
