Lisa Hochstein Celebrates Small Victory In Divorce From Estranged Husband

Lisa Hochstein is getting a fraction of victory in her divorce against Lenny Hochstein. Some money is coming her way, finally.

A judge is forcing the former Real Housewives of Miami house husband to start caring for his estranged wife and kids. It was ruled in a Miami courtroom last week that Lenny is responsible for paying his wife $8,000 per month via direct deposit.

This transaction will start May 1, and unfortunately for Lenny, this is only temporary support, meaning he could end up paying way more in the future (or less). He can afford it because his voicemail boasts he as a “world-renowned plastic surgeon,” Lisa flaunted their wealth on a reality show for five seasons!

Lenny was also ordered to “maintain the status quo” for Lisa and the kiddos, meaning, sir, please continue to allow your wife AND kids the lifestyle they were living when you loved their mom. This has been a massive deal for Lisa, who openly claimed that she could not afford food and clothes for her children since Lenny left her.

She also maintained that everyday things like taking the kids to school had been an issue because of a lack of money for gas and an unacceptable car to lug two kids still using car seats.

The judge also clarified to Lenny that he needs to maintain medical insurance for Lisa and the kids and pay for Logan and Elle’s school tuition, camps, extracurriculars, and whatever else is needed to raise the kids.

As for Lisa, Lenny is being held responsible for paying $60k towards her lawyer fees to be given directly to her attorney. The firm that reps Lisa came out a little while back and claimed that she owed them a staggering $85,500.

Lisa had maintained to Judge Abby Cynamon that the $30,000 she makes per episode for the Real Housewives of Miami is “woefully insufficient” to keep her lifestyle and the lifestyle of her kids, who are 7 and 3, an expensive age.

The court docs obtained by Page Six claim, “[Lenny] has significant and substantial assets and earns millions of dollars a year as [a] successful plastic surgeon,” adding that “without [Lenny’s] contribution, [Lisa] cannot provide the needs and necessities of life as they were established during the marriage.”

The reality star, 40, has been in and out of the courts trying to get some TEMPORARY support from a man who was her husband for over ten years. This is only the temp support, and according to Lisa, Lenny is acting like he has no clue what is needed of him.

At the time, Lisa went as far as to share that she couldn’t even afford diapers for baby Elle. Lenny claimed she had options, though, via a court filing.

“If [Lisa] was truly in need of diapers and food for Minor Children, [Lisa] should have purchased the same with the Insta-Cart app tied to [my] bank account,” Lenny, 56, snapped back in a previous court filing, adding that she’s been requesting “excessive” amounts of money.”

At least the two are making some headway, finally.
