Bam Margera's Brother Claims He Is Addicted To Meth
On Wednesday, Jess Margera, Bam Margera's brother, took to Twitter to reveal that Bam is addicted to meth. He wrote that since the addiction started, Bam has become "unrecognizable" and that their family is worried because they don't "know what he's capable of."
However, Jess is trying hard to "stay positive" because Bam is also the "sweetest guy" within. He said, per Daily Mail, "Seeing him screaming [at] a person that wasn't there, hallucinating. It's terrifying and heartbreaking." Jess also revealed that Bam is currently on the run with his girlfriend and her baby girl after assaulting him.
He wrote, "His gf has her phone, I'm apprehensive about Bam, but I'm apprehensive that there is an eight year old child with them. I can't even imagine the environment in that car right now. I hope she's okay. She is the sweetest kid; she doesn't deserve this unnecessary trauma."
Police Are Searching For Bam Margera
In his tweets, Jess also shared that he's frustrated that the police haven't tracked Bam down yet. He wrote, "I mean, I can talk to my lightbulbs. My car can back out of the garage and pick me up at the front door. Police should be able to track a phone. I'm the a**hole."
Over the past few days, Pennsylvania police have organized a search to track Bam down after he assaulted Jess. Police officials discussed the incident with TMZ and revealed that troopers responded to a call near Bam's home on Sunday morning.
They claimed an alleged victim told the troopers they'd suffered minor injuries during an altercation with Bam. By the time police got to the scene, however, Bam had already run away into a nearby forest area.
Bam Margera Allegedly Beat And Threatened His Family
According to the police report on Bam's assault, the "Jackass" star had left a disturbing note on Jess's bedroom door early in the morning. The message read, "If you even f***ing think of calling the police on me, I will officially f*** you up."
After finding the note, Jess tracked Bam to their home kitchen, where the TV star was urinating in a kitchen sink. This led to the brothers arguing and fighting and Bam beating up Jess until he had several apparent injuries.
According to Jess, Bam threatened to kill him and "put a bullet in your head." He also allegedly threatened to kill everyone in the house at the time. This included his father, Phil, and two women who remain anonymous. After the threats, Bam fled into the forested area behind their property.
According to the report, a warrant for Bam's capture and arrest is now. He will be charged with four misdemeanors, a single count of simple assault, and one count of harassment with physical contact.
He's Refused To Get Professional Help
Several sources confirmed to TMZ that Bam has severally refused to get professional help, despite his friend's and family's best efforts. After his most recent arrest, the family staged an intervention for the TV star in San Diego, which unfortunately failed. It failed because Bam "blew the whole thing up."
An insider explained to the news outlet that Bam was initially "receptive" to rehab but bailed because of some problems with logistics. One such issue was where his girlfriend would live while he was in the facility.
The insider also shared that the Margera family is worried about Bam and pushing him to "get back into rehab." They staged the intervention for this reason and invited his estranged wife, Nicole Boyd. Boyd even agreed to allow Bam to visit their son, Phoenix, if he maintained sobriety.
The photographer and model officially filed for divorce in February this year on claims that Bam wasn't sober during a visit. She asked the court for physical and legal custody of their son, Phoenix, but agreed to supervised visits in the Los Angeles Avis.
