The partnership celebrates the launch of the brand’s new drink, Modelo Spiked Aguas Frescas. During an exclusive interview with The Blast, Morales explained his partnership with the popular beer brand.

“With this partnership, Modelo gave me the opportunity to actually invite five real street vendors, to bring them to Las Vegas, and have them try out the Modelo Spiked Aguas Frescas for the first time ever,” Morales explained. “And not only that, but they also had a $5,000 surprise for all five street vendors. And I’m just really excited to share that experience.”

Morales has enjoyed the partnership because “it was just a complete alignment between both of our missions here.”

“With the Modelo Spiked Aguas Frescas, which were literally inspired by this, by the hardworking street vendors, and the fact that they got the flavor of the Modelo Spiked Aguas Fescas so on point with the aguas frescas that the street vendors make is absolutely amazing. I was honestly kind of surprised because that’s a really hard thing to do, especially for a spiked drink,” he exclusively told The Blast.

“The street vendors absolutely loved it. I’m really proud of Modelo and this partnership, and I’m really happy with their new drink.”

“But towards the end of the night, we had that other surprise for them, which we didn’t tell them about. And at the end of the day, we gave all five of them that $5,000 surprise," he said. "And it was just a beautiful moment.”

Jesús Morales Began His TikTok Journey in 2020

In 2020, Morales began creating videos on the platform, but they were really just for fun. It came to a point where he just really wanted to make a difference, so he changed things up a bit.

“There came a point in time where I just felt unfulfilled with what I was creating, and I kind of came to a dead end. But it wasn’t until I came across other creators online who were actually using their platforms for good, you know, they were using their platforms to give back to the community in some way, and that inspired me immediately, and I wanted to do the exact same thing,” he told The Blast.

“However, I just didn’t know where to start. But I just decided one day because I would see my local elote man coming up and down the street every single day, even though we were in the middle of the pandemic, this man was out there hustling, like day in and day out, he had that fighting spirit. And so, I just knew, I was like, what if we help this street vendor community because these people are so hard working.”

It all started with just $100 and a video of Morales tipping the elote man that $100. From that point on, people started to support the movement by donating money. Each video shared generated more money.

“And it kind of built up into the eventual staple $1,000 tip. I think it was that initial spark of inspiration from other creators who were able to use platforms online to do good that really got me to that point that I’m at today,” he said.

“And I’m so grateful for those creators and I’m actually friends with a few of them. But the street vendor community, the reason I chose them is because, again, they’re hard workers and they really truly remind me of my roots.”

Morales is from Mexico where there are street vendors everywhere just trying to make an honest living. His grandmother was a street vendor and that’s what inspired him to want to help that community and “never give up no matter what it is.”

When asked if he has a favorite story of a time he was able to help a street vendor out, Morales said it’s hard to pinpoint just one, but one story did give him chills.

“I remember I went up to this lady, I think she was selling if I’m not mistaken, she was selling fruit somewhere in like downtown Los Angeles. And I had given her a $1,000 tip, and she started breaking down crying and she mentioned that she needed to send money to her family because they were kind of behind on bills and she needed to send her family money in Mexico,” he told The Blast.

“And I was like, oh, like how much? And she said, 20,000 pesos, which is literally the equivalent of $1,000 in U.S. dollars. It was just like this chilling moment. It’s just those moments are really beautiful because it just really humbles me because I still am so shocked that there’s this amazing community that we have online that is just so generous and willing to want to help you.”

Morales shares all the good he’s doing with his more than 4 million TikTok followers. Most of his videos get at least 1 million or more views and tons of comments. He has a message for anyone who would like to help the cause he’s so dedicated to.

“If you guys would like to help out with the cause, feel free to head over to my social channels, juixxe, and if you’d like to donate, we have a link in our bio and anything absolutely helps towards any future videos,” he said.
