Disney had big plans for an upcoming merchandise line inspired by their hit movie, "Frozen," but their dreams are getting the cold shoulder from officials, who have now issued a suspension.

According to documents obtained by The Blast, Disney Enterprises just had their 2018 trademark application for "Let It Go" suspended by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Disney had intended for "Let It Go," the hit song from "Frozen," to be used for a clothing line, and officials claim it would be too similar to a "Let It Go" application filed by a woman in 2017.

Leigh Burton hails from a place colder than Arrendale -- Canada -- and intended to use "Let It Go" for her own line of clothing, including sweatshirts and t-shirts. Because of the likelihood of confusion, and because Burton had her application filed first, Disney was denied and had their application suspended.

Disney is also being proactive to make sure their "Frozen" brand is protected, and they've filed an official opposition against Burton for likelihood of confusion. In their legal documents, Disney makes it clear they've been actively using "Let It Go" in the marketplace since 2013.

Disney is asking for officials to green light their "Let It Go" paperwork and plow Burton's application into oblivion.
