'Harry Potter' Star Daniel Radcliffe And Erin Darke Welcome First Child, Seen On A Stroll With The New Baby

Daniel Radcliffe is now a first-time dad.

After dating for over a decade, the "Harry Potter" star secretly welcomed his first child with his partner, Erin Darke.

They were recently seen taking a stroll with the newborn in New York City while donning casual clothing.

In the meantime, the couple is keeping the child's name a secret, which is unsurprising given how quiet they have been about their relationship.

As revealed by pictures taken by Daily Mail, Radcliffe and his partner, Darke, have welcomed their first child together.

The duo was pictured strolling the streets of New York with their newborn barely a month after it was confirmed that Darke was pregnant.

For the walk, Radcliffe pushed his new arrival in a pram while his partner walked behind him carrying an open bag, although its contents seemed to be obscured.

The "Harry Potter" star was dressed casually in a grey graphic T-shirt with a charcoal sweatshirt put over the top, khaki slacks, and sneakers. In addition, the actor wore a navy blue baseball cap and a protective facemask.

Darke also went for a low-key look, which included a black T-shirt and blue denim with a green corduroy coat and bright orange boots. She accessorized her casual outfit with a pair of sunglasses and hung a facemask over her face.

Late last month, US Weekly first confirmed that Darke was pregnant with a child, per a rep for Radcliffe.

The female actress had shown off her bulging belly a day prior, making many speculate she was pregnant. She was seen on that day with Radcliffe, and the couple appeared to be heading towards an undisclosed location.

The now mother-of-one donned a black zip-up sweatshirt that cradled her stomach, matching leggings, and a black and white checked peacoat. She also put on orange boots and went makeup-free for the outing. 

Meanwhile, Radcliffe wore a navy puffer jacket with a bright blue and yellow winter cap and held a green shopping bag.

Following the birth of their child, Radcliffe and Darke have yet to share its name or publicly address their new status as parents.

The duo first met on the "Kill Your Darlings" in 2012 and have dated for over a decade.

In the movie, Darke's character is seen in a scene flirting with Radcliffe's character, with the two later sharing an intimate moment in a library.

Following the movie's release, Radcliffe and Darke were seen together at the 2013 Sundance Picture Festival, which they attended to promote the indie picture.

"They were affectionate most of the night," a source told Us Weekly at the time. "They were a little more obvious outside the venue after they were leaving."

Throughout their relationship, Radcliffe and Darke have mostly steered clear of the media, choosing to live a private life free from the frenzy of being celebrities.

In 2015, Radcliffe confirmed that he connected with his partner while filming "Kill Your Darlings."

"That's a wonderful record of us flirting for the first time," the actor told Playboy at the time, per US Weekly. "There's no acting going on — not from my end, anyway. There's a moment when she makes me laugh, and I'm laughing as me and not as my character. She was incredibly funny and smart. I knew I was in trouble."

Five years later, the "Escape From Pretoria" star told UK outlet Metro that Darke was cool with him doing nerdy stuff, describing it as "fantastic."

"I grew up doing lots of things where I thought, 'This is super nerdy. I'll never be able to do this around a girl,'" the actor said at the time.

"But that's the wonderful thing about the moment you find the relationship you're meant to be in. … It's like, 'Oh, I can do all of that stuff, and you don't mind. And you actually think it's fun, too. This is fantastic!'"
