Disney Guest Caught Watching Porn & Exposing Himself While On A Ride

A Disney Guest from New Jersey was caught smoking, watching pornography, exposing himself, and masturbating while on a ride at EPCOT in Walt Disney World. 

Robert Fitzpatrick, 36, was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor of exposing himself, according to reports.

Cast Members were first suspicious of Fitzpatrick when he asked to be seated in the ride vehicle at Remy's Ratatouille Adventure by himself. Typically, the ride vehicle is filled with multiple Guests as it can sit up to six individuals, so the fact that Fitzpatrick wanted a car all to himself raised questions.

“… Generally, guests share the cart with other people, and it was suspicious that the guest was in the cart alone,” the arrest report said per WDWNT.

Most Disney attractions are equipped with security cameras for the safety of both Guests and Cast Members, which are being monitored by staff. The report noted that when watching the security cameras, multiple Cast Members saw Fitzpatrick smoke and then proceed to touch himself.

Cast Members stopped the ride twice, making an announcement over the loudspeaker that smoking is not permitted.

The Cast Members restarted the ride, which is when Fitzpatrick pulled out his cell phone and began looking at pornography. He then placed his hand down his pants, the arrest report noted.

The New Jersey native then exposed himself by pulling his penis out of his pants and continued to masturbate while inside the ride vehicle. One EPCOT Cast Member noted that he ejaculated before he left the ride.

Disney provided the surveillance video to the sheriff's office for their investigation, which shows the entire incident.

Again, many Walt Disney World attractions have cameras located inside of them so that Cast Members can keep an eye on Guests and ensure they are following the rules. “It should be noted, although Robert was alone inside his cart, the cart has vents open to the public and is constantly being recorded while the ride is in motion,” the arrest report noted.

Records show there were already warrants out for Fitzpatrick’s arrest for sex crimes in both California and New Jersey.

Remy's Ratatouille Adventure is one of EPCOT's newest attractions. When building the attraction, Walt Disney Imagineering partnered with Pixar to make sure what the Disney Imagineers were creating stayed true to the story and stayed true to the overall idea.

It is a trackless 4D dark ride attraction, based on the 2007 Disney Pixar animated film, "Ratatouille", and shrinks down riders to the size of a rat who then have to scurry along with Chef Remy through Gusteau’s Restaurant in an adorable rat-shaped ride vehicle.

The official Disney World website describes the ride as, "In this 4D ride experience, join Chef Remy on a daring culinary caper that will captivate all your senses as you zip, dash and scurry through the bustling kitchen, dining room and walls of Gusteau’s famous Paris restaurant. C’est magnifique!"

Remy's Ratatouille Adventure is located in the France Pavilion within World Showcase at EPCOT.
