Was Shannen Doherty Divorce Caused By Another Woman?

Shannen Doherty’s publicist dropped the bomb that her client’s husband was unfaithful leading to the dissolution of their marriage.

The publicist letting it all hang out is Leslie Sloane. She is well-known around Hollywood and shared the crazy news with Page Six. She called the relationship that took place between Doherty’s soon-to-be ex-husband and his agent as being “intimately” involved.

The actress filed for divorce last week from photographer Kurt Iswarienko. The couple had been married for 11 years. Doherty called it quits and announced late last week that her marriage is over. At the time, she never gave a reason. Sloane revealed, “Divorce is the last thing Shannen wanted.”

“Unfortunately, she felt she was left with no other option. You can contact Kurt’s agent, Collier Grimm at PICTUREKID, as she is intimately involved,'” claims Sloane. The situation-ship that took place between Iswarienko and Grimm was going on for an unspecific amount of time.

Since the news has dropped, neither Grimm nor Iswarienko has said anything about the damming allegations. Seeing as Sloane threw it right out there and called out the place of business that is attached to Grimm, she is exuding a level of confidence that only someone who knows something could do.

The agency PictureKid has only been active for under a year according to Grimm’s LinkedIn profile. She describes it as:

“A boutique artist management agency founded on the principle that relationships are at the core of every successful collaboration. We cultivate intentional connections between our artists and the studios, streamers, and creative agencies that partner with us. We see each project as an opportunity to innovate and elevate in the ever-evolving visual marketplace. We also like our martinis shaken, not stirred.”

The actress herself has not thrown digs at her estranged husband’s agent because clearly, her publicist is going to bat for her.

It was Doherty who filed for divorce from Iswarienko and while she never revealed a real reason why just the normal legal jargon. But maybe this is what is happening behind the scenes. However, the divorce does come as a shock seeing as Doherty was battling cancer and praised her husband.

In 2019, after being in remission from breast cancer for a little over two years, she told People magazine, “Cancer solidified us.” She reflected, “Kurt and I have a much deeper appreciation for each other now.”

This isn’t the case now. Sources shared with TMZ just ahead of the pandemic when Doherty’s breast cancer came back that their relationship is “not well.” What was once an “acrimonious” split was no longer that.

While her first go around with breast cancer brought them closer the second one was harder on the duo leading to the situation they are in currently. Doherty and Iswarienko are allegedly not chatting and will likely have to utilize a mediator to progress through their divorce.

According to Sloane, Doherty didn’t want a divorce she was happily married and found this new predicament in her long-term marriage unfortunate.
