Meghan Markle Allegedly Revealed 'Racist' Royal Family Member's Name to King Charles

According to a new report, Meghan Markle wrote about "unconscious bias" concerns to King Charles III. One of the Duchess' letters to the King included the name of the Royal family official who was allegedly racist to her.

During her controversial interview with Oprah, Markle revealed the racist questions but refused to drop names. When asked, Prince Harry said it was an awkward conversation.

Recent reports have also claimed that Markle feels the elements of Royal life that made her suicidal are still unresolved.

The Telegraph recently reported that Meghan Markle had written about her concerns about "unconscious bias" in the royal family to King Charles. A source then confirmed to Page Six and said, "Yes, there was correspondence; there were letters back and forth from the Duchess of Sussex to the king."

However, the source emphasized that the communication happened two years ago and is irrelevant to why Markle isn't attending the King's upcoming coronation. Only Prince Harry will be traveling to Britain for the festivities.

According to The Telegraph, Markle communicated with the King after her viral 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey. During that interview, the Duchess said a royal family official had asked questions about her son Archie's skin color before he was even born.

The letters between Markle and King Charles reportedly contain the name of the Royal family official who made the racist comments. At the time, insiders at the palace had confirmed the senior official was neither the Late Queen Elizabeth nor Prince Phillip.

Insiders told The Telegraph that Markle and the King had "acknowledged that the individual's remark was not made with malice." However, it also included a statement that Markle and Harry were frustrated that their kids were not considered for roles in the coronation.

It read, "The Palace is also aware of the Sussexes' frustration that initial email correspondence about the coronation did not refer to their children and their potential involvement. The omission only fueled their feeling that their family plays second fiddle to the Waleses."

In author Christopher Andersen's book Brothers And Wives: Inside The Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry, and Meghan, he claimed that King Charles himself was the person who'd asked about Archie's skin color, but there's no proof of this.

During the Oprah interview, Prince Harry was asked about the conversation and declined to speak about it. However, he suggested that it was only one conversation and that it "was awkward" and shocking to him.

King Charles was reportedly surprised by the news, while Prince William completely disregarded them. He said, "We are very much not a racist family." However, in 2021, the authors of "Finding Freedom" claimed that Markle and Harry considered revealing the racist Royal but realized it would cause too much damage.

The Telegraph's report claimed that Markle thinks her concerns about certain aspects of life as a royal, which drove her to suicidal thoughts, are still unresolved. The Duchess had spoken to Oprah about feeling suicidal while pregnant with Archie, their son and first child.

Markle said then that the pressure of Royal life and the criticism and adverse treatment from the British press were too much. She stated, "I just didn't want to be alive anymore." However, a spokesperson for Markle has emphasized to Page Six that she's moved on, and the claims are all false.

They said, "The Duchess of Sussex is going about her life in the present, not thinking about correspondence from two years ago related to conversations from four years ago. Any suggestion otherwise is false and frankly ridiculous. We encourage tabloid media and various royal correspondents to stop the exhausting circus they are creating alone."
