Savannah Chrisley Was Booted Off An Aircraft
According to Page Six, Chrisley, 25, described her miserable experience with Southwest Airlines in which a flight attendant "threw her off the flight" for refusing to check her carry-on bag.
The TV personality took to Instagram to inform her fans that she was labeled an "unruly passenger" by an airline representative after arguing with him.
"Alright, guys, I know why everyone hates Southwest so much. I mean, hates it—the worst thing in the world," she narrated.
She continued, "This man right here … um, awful. I boarded my flight to get on, and he told me I had to check my bag. I was like, 'Okay, if you wouldn't mind, I'm gonna take my bag on the flight, see if I can't make it fit, and if not, I'll check it.'"
However, the airline employee didn't budge, calling her an "unruly passenger" for refusing to follow orders.
A Pilot Tried To Calm The Situation
As the "Growing Up Chrisley" alum continued to argue with the airline employee, a pilot arrived to try to calm the situation, but the attendant refused.
According to Page Six, Chrisley claimed that the pilot told the attendant to "calm down" and "that he was going to find a place" for her bag on board, but the attendant retorted, telling him not to interfere.
"The Southwest attendant looked at the pilot — the man who is flying our plane and is responsible for our safety, the most important person in the airline — and said, 'Stay out of it … ma'am, you're not flying on this flight,'" she stated.
Chrisley divulged that she called the attendant an "a**hole" and explained that she had to rush home to be with her 10-year-old niece, but he didn't care.
"So Southwest, you're awful, but I'm not going to lie... your pilot was kinda hot," she quipped.
The reality star had no other option but to wait for another flight with a connecting stop in Baltimore but used the opportunity to admire the "real good-looking pilot."
Southwest Airlines Responds To Savannah Chrisley's Claims
According to Entertainment Tonight, a rep for Southwest Airlines responded to Chrisley's allegations that she was butted off the plane, claiming that the reality star told a "different story."
A rep for the airline told the news outlet that the company was aware of Chrisley's video and it's "looking into the situation."
They said, "Our initial reports indicate a different story than the one from the customer's account, as she arrived at the gate late in the boarding process and repeatedly insulted our employee after being asked to gate-check her bag."
The rep added, "As a result, the customer was denied boarding on her original flight, and we booked her on a later flight the same day."
Savannah Chrisley Documents Teenage Suicide Attempt
The reality star recently gave an in-depth account of the time she almost took her life as a teenager during an early April edition of her "Unlocked With Savannah Chrisley" podcast.
She explained that she took some pills but pointed out that they didn't work and thanked God that "I'm sitting here today."
"But ever since then, I feel like with my brain, my memory, and it's the most frustrating thing in the world because it feels so foggy," she added, per Page Six.
