After leaving the tennis world, The Blast reported that the "My Wife and Kids" guest actress made significant moves into the entertainment industry with the launch of her new multimedia production company, 926 Productions.
By doing this, she proves that her talents extend far beyond the tennis court and is ready to take on the industry with her latest venture. Even though the retired athlete is already used to being in front of the camera, she got her feet wet in production by serving as an executive producer alongside her sister Venus.
They did this on the highly acclaimed film "King Richard," which chronicled the life of their father and coach, Richard Williams. In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, the former tennis pro stated:
"With the launch of 926 Productions, we aim to elevate female and diverse voices through content that speaks to everyone. I'm so excited to begin this next chapter of my career alongside Caroline [Currier], a woman who understands the art of storytelling and is passionate about evolving the entertainment industry in new directions."
Williams expressed her enthusiasm to work with Currier to create exceptional projects that would inspire viewers across all media platforms. She emphasized that through her company, she aimed to elevate the voices of women and diverse individuals through "four-quadrant storytelling" that catered to a wide range of "age groups and genders."
