Elizabeth Olsen wasn't happy about doing her stunts for her Marvel films.

The actress recently revealed that she wanted the showrunners to use a stunt double for most of her stunt scenes, but they turned it down. Olsen also said she felt herself doing the stunts was ridiculous, as the body double was sure to do it better.

The actress is set to make her acting return in the series "Love and Death," inspired by a true story about a brutal axe murder.

'It Was Ridiculous'

During her appearance on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," Olsen spoke about performing her stunts on Marvel's "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness."

Recalling the experience, she shared an instance where she was to "be dropped from 30 feet up and land" quickly so that it "looked like it had an impact." However, she "kept landing like Peter Pan, like fencing."

Feeling put off by her acting, Olsen requested that they use a stunt double, but the showrunners didn't deem it necessary.

Olsen said, per Insider"I was like, 'Use the double. This is so ridiculous — there is a double for a reason. Like, face replace….' They do it all the time. And they used it. In the movie I'm Landing, I look like Peter Pan. I look like I'm fencing. It's ridiculous."

Despite Olsen not carrying out the scene how she wanted, the producers still used it as part of the film. At other times, she was also expected to do more stunts, which she did almost all of in the movie.

The actress said she felt a body double should have been used for all the stunt-filled scenes, just as she had wanted for the high-drop moment.

She said of the stunts, "I didn't do all of them, but I did most of them, which wastes everyone's time because a stunt double does it so much better."

According to Olsen, when she does her stunt herself, she no longer feels giddy as years of practice have killed off those feelings.

Will She Ever Reprise Her Role As Scarlet Witch?

In the meantime, there has been no confirmation from Marvel on whether the Scarlet Witch will ever grace viewers' screens again.

The uncertainty around the character hasn't stopped the actress from hoping it gets a new look and narrative if she ever appears in the MCU again.

"We can do anything with her now! I feel like we've done so much. Now, we can have fun; I feel much more humor is to be had with her. She's often the emotion of a story, and I'm curious to see what we can explore. And hopefully [we can] give her some redemption," Olsen told Screen Rant.

And when she appeared on "The Today Show," the actress revealed that she was yet to see a script for any new Scarlet Witch filming, adding that "there's no contract" for her to play the character.
