Tom Pelphrey and Kaley Cuoco are undoubtedly excited about parenthood after welcoming their first child Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, on the last day of March.

Fans would recall that five months after confirming their relationship in 2022, the couple announced they were expecting Matilda, who is set to clock three weeks on Friday, April 21.

Meanwhile, as the milestone draws nearer, her doting father is making some "daddy confessions," pointing at how much love he has for Cuoco, whose best qualities are amplified thanks to motherhood.

“Oh God, it’s so cool. She’s so good at it, you know. It’s like all the qualities that I love about Kaylee, times a 100. She’s so funny and she’s so nurturing and easy and playful and loving. I mean so loving, you know, it’s beautiful.”

Later in the conversation, Tom was asked how big he would go for Cuoco on Mother's Day, which will be her first as a mom. He exclaimed, "Oh boy! I mean," before jokingly noting that the baby showers the parents hosted set the bar high, but he believed he would have to "come in under for Mother's Day."

The response prompted the host to remark while laughing: "If Brad Pitt shows up in a onesie for Mother's Day, I'm pulling rank. That's enough." The "Banshee" actress agreed, saying, "Totally."

At the beginning of the month, Cuoco announced the birth of little Matilda using a sweet note on Instagram, revealing the newborn's full name. The update featured a series of pictures of Matilda unveiling her face, with some showing glimpses of the delighted parents doting on her.

"3-30-23 – Introducing Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, the new light of our lives!" the "Big Bang Theory" alum began in the caption. "We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle."

She then thanked those who "immensely" assisted with welcoming the tot, including "the doctors, nurses, family, and friends." Before rounding off the message, Cuoco declared how blessed she and her lover were, after which she praised him, stating, "[I] didn't think I could fall even more in love with you, but I did ."

One such moment was a series of Instagram Story posts days after announcing Matilda's arrival. The photo dump began with a snap of the baby girl looking wide-eyed at the camera while Cuoco cradled her head. Another image showed the infant napping on the "Mank" actor's chest in their lavish home.

The father-daughter duo both looked well at home, with the delighted mama captioning the adorable post with "Daddy's Girl." In another picture featuring only the mother and daughter duo, Cuoco cuddled her baby, smiling sweetly, while seated on a gray couch.

In the final update, a repost from Tom's Instagram, the 37-year-old actress could be seen squatting behind her man with their dogs included in the bonding moment. Not long after, Cuoco shared a comic image of Matilda during her first official bath.

On her Instagram Story, the "Charmed" actress dropped a picture of herself carrying and beaming at her daughter, who had her tongue out and was bundled up in a towel. Cuoco wore a black shirt and bound her sandy blonde hair in a messy high bun.

Highlighting the adorable moment to her millions of followers, she wrote across the post, "When your first official bath gets you quite cheeky." She added a tongue emoji to the sentence before including a "bath time" sticker away from the message.
